McNulty has always been anti Spurs: He is slag journo who has all the class of a turd dropping into the bowl!

jesus, pot 2, pot 3.. what the fuck does it matter?

the whole point of being in the CL is that we get to play these great teams, and why should we fear anyone anymore? we could do a number on anyone if we play well

"Nearly, but not quite after another season of progress for Mauricio Pochettino's emerging young team.

Spurs have an outstanding core of young, English players.

If they can keep them together, add to the squad, and find a way to win at Wembley then a trophy will surely come soon. But they now need to win something.

McNulty's pre-season prediction: 5th

What he said: "Tough call this one as Pochettino's side were excellent last season and were right in the title shake-up for so long. In reality, you could throw a blanket over the likes of Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal in the battle for top-four places."

Managerial mark: Mauricio Pochettino - 7/10.

Stat: Tottenham scored more goals and conceded fewer than any other team in the Premier League, beating champions Chelsea's goal difference by eight"

Mangerial mark of 7/10??? That's the same that he's given to Klopp, Koeman, Eddie Howe, Craig Shakespeare, Allardyce and Sean Dyce. What an absolute helmet!

If only the owners and chairmen of all the top clubs in Europe rated him the same

Barcelona and Bayern will both be bricking it if they end up in the same group as us
I reckon we'd have given a better account of ourselves this year had we been drawn in one of the supposed 'tougher' groups, as it was we just seemed pretty apathetic to it all.

Fucking hell mcnulty is a proper twat. I rate his journalism as 3/10 akin to his score for David Moyes.

It felt like the Europa league to me but just with more pressure.

Not sure if these quotes are true, but how refreshing if they are.

So we get predicted to finish 5th, end-up 2nd and McNulty gives Poch 7 out of 10... Yea, no bias there /sarcasm.

also note how they put a negative spin on what it means for Spurs, when Liverpool are in the same boat as us

Playing Devils Advocate here a little, but sometimes we are just as guilty of oversensativity as the pundits are of over bias.

If you replaced Tottenham for Liverpool in that article we would be saying "Fuck Lliverpool. We have got it just as hard as they have"

That said I do believe there is a unhealthy bias in relation to negatively geared arguments written about us.

Interesting article by JJ although I disagree with what he say about paying Walker and other players more money.

Well first thing is, Man City are crazy.
Walker is not worth 100,000 a week. We can't afford Man City, Barca, Madrid type wages players know that when they sign up.

Walker is on 75k isn't he? That's what the stories about his new contract all said last September

It's a joke. It's supposedly a premier league report but bangs on about Poch having to win something. You can only win one thing in the premier league so this is nonsense. Poch outperformed McNulty's predicted finish by 3 positions but gets 7/10. It's just silly.

Everyone else seems about right tho if you bump Poch to 8 and Silva at Hull to 7 and knock Mourinho down to 5 (if this is supposedly a league ranking)

It's a stupid score but not totally ridiculous. We're a solid 8. 8.5 perhaps. 9 for me would've been 2nd and a trophy. 10 for first
