You don't always get what you deserve in football. But what I did take offence to was Cundy et al, blaming Poch for last night. Most ridiculous piece of bullshit I've heard in a long time. Yet it happens, its not going to go away and the bandwagoners are jumping on.

We are either the media darlings or their worst enemy aren’t we, there is no middle ground!

Cundy was a complete arse last night. I turned off when he asked one Spurs fan ‘is Poch as good as Sir Alex?’ as though that’s a stick to beat him with.

The media will happily build you up and twice as fast knock you down.

The choice is whether you read/listen to it and take it for what it is and trust your own judgement over it.

Love the bit in today’s review of the game in The ‘I’ which said Juve resorted to Isthmian League tactics in the second half by kicking lumps out of the opposition. Someone at least watched the game

Nice to see Gerrard, Lampard and Ferdinand all laugh off Barzagli's double-stamp, double kick on Son in the first half as if deliberately trying to injure an opponent was the most hilariously slapstick thing ever.
That was courtesy of Gary Lineker once again trying to be comedian extraordinaire trying to fit in a 'Son felt something sharp too' gag rather than give it the emphasis it deserved.

If that was Alli though....

Former Premier League striker Chris Sutton, an analyst at Wembley for BBC Radio 5 live, said: "It is important now that there are no wild or stupid reactions. Spurs and Pochettino are building a special group and it will come.

"Spurs are a young and improving side - they are only going to get better.

"It will feel sore but you have the look at the opposition - they hardly concede. It is a learning experience and that is knockout football at its most brutal."

Ferdinand saying we have to step up and win something and we failed again, fucking prick. Like his input generally but they always have to have a dig. It’s a game of football, one wins and one loses. They all thought we were the bette4 team in both ties so why the statement. Knock your old team for being shit and boring.
To be fair they all looked a bit dejected that we lost. At least they were not down the spursy route.

Bellamy and Mason on this and they are heavily biased towards us

I've got a lot of respect for Craig Bellamy here, he understands what's happening at Spurs and doesn't fall into the typical media narrative, he speaks very well about us generally.

In the few times I've seen Bellamy on The Debate, I get the feeling he really regrets not playing for us. And Ryan is a legend. Get the boy back at the club in some way.

About time people stood up for us. It's a project. We have been on the up for a few years now and it isn't going to yield instant success. Us Spurs fans can see the progress, see the project, whereas other fans seem to think we're the finished product and should be winning trophies left, right and centre. It was great to hear Bellamy and Mason actually talk some sense, whilst that dimwit Shreeves keeps pushing the narrative. The minute Mason pipes up about nobody mentioning how Liverpool haven't won anything in 5 or 6 years Shreeves changes the conversation. Bloke's an idiot whenever I see him on tele.

The project is on course we are laying down good foundation for continuous success rather than a one hit wonder ie Leicester City success.

The fact Cundy's name is spelt wrong, is all you need to know. The fat ugly ****!
