I think Ian Wright essentially answered the Debate question appropriately by saying "at the moment".
Wise was going by overall recent history.

In essence there's an argument to be had for both being correct, as much as I dislike Wise. There's nothing to say Chelsea won't get another good manager in the summer and get another positive swing that pushes them up towards the title again, or other trophies, they have done it before.

We are however, currently the number one team in London in the table and with the brightest and stable future as things stand.

I'm surprised azpuilcueta isn't in that line up. Maybe he wasn't selected because they can't spell his name like me.

They must've been through them all by now, surely?!

To be honest regarding Wise, to me he just looked like he couldn't wait to get into any negatives regarding us. Straight off the bat, can they keep the players, will they offer the right money, they need to win trophies to keep them etc. After one of our biggest results of the season, it's frustrating to see this being the immediate reaction. Whenever there was any negative question brought about he couldn't wait to chirp up. A right little shit and bitter as fuck when speaking about us.

There is not much better an example of the media only focusing on the negatives when there are so many positives regarding us.

Totally agree, Imagine someone like Dawson who is also Spurs through and through going on and saying positive things about Chavski or Wet Spam.

What about Ian Wright and Martin Keown? They are both Arsenal through and through. But they are professional enough to praise Spurs and remain unbiased.

Guys - let's not over analyse it eh?

Ian Wright is a sensible bloke, who clearly has a brain and is analysing things objectively. He's great and we all like him.

Dennis Wise is basically just a simpleton who happened to play football. Criticising him for a lack of insight is like having a go at someone with no legs for running slowly. He's hopelessly biased towards his former club, but then there are lots of (sh*t) pundits like that.

Pat him on the head, tell him he's done well, ignore everything he says and leave him to it.

It's not an over-analysis, it's just a stark observation. It's just annoying how they have the guy even commenting on us on such a platform, he speaks as if his tongue will fall off if he praises us in any way.

I don't have a problem with him thinking what he does or saying what he does, it's just how Sky give him the spotlight to do so in what should be an unbiased viewing. Is just like how someone with no legs, wouldn't be given the stage to run on the track in the first place :D

Dennis Wise's punditry is as dodgy as the syrup on top of his head.

He reminds me of Nookie Bear.

Without watching the programme or indeed disagreeing with the prevailing opinion of Dennis Wise surely the idea of the debate is two ex pros with opposing views. The format of the show must lead to one of them taking the "Adrian Durham side".

Wise was on a few weeks ago explaining in his very expert opinion why Chelsea would have caught and overtaken us by now. Really wish I had recorded it now:)

I think Dawson would say positive things, if they were honest things. He wouldn't say they were crap or not as good as Spurs if it were not true. People are allowed to be positive about a rival team, and still dislike them.

Not sure if it's already been shared but another snipped from Wright

At the end, does he say “if I was a Spurs fan, moving into the new stadium, with the players WE’VE got”? (Or something along those lines).

We’ve got... Is Wright’y Including himself in that collective?

I got a sneaky suspicion Wright was a spurs fan as a youngster I’m sure I’ve heard him say he liked hoddle other players from our team back when he was growing up
He won’t admit it because of the arsenal association I dunno he’s never really ever slagged off as far as I can remember I like him apart from that time he chinned David Howells
Dennis wise on the other hand wtf is wrong with his face Botox or something the nob
