What the pundits & media are saying about us

LOL at the hatchet job on Soccer Sunday ... Fuck a duck never has a group of men with affiliations to top football clubs never spouted so much hot air in an attempt to create a media mountain of a molehill.

The joys!

Anyone watching Soccer Saturday? Absolute horse shite comments on us as usual. If you didn’t know where we were in table, you’d of thought we had finished mid table the way they were talking about us!

Yeah, selling Kane, worrying times, manager is off, buying Mahrez, no money to spend! I was literally laughing at them!

Didn’t see it but I’m assuming we are like the titanic and everyone is jumping ship.

Merson saying we can only afford to spend £5m/£6m on a player this summer ?

They talk so much shite. Stelling saying that we are not one of the teams spending 40 million on a squad player... apart from Man City, who is?

Although you could argue that Sissoko and then Sanchez this season at 30 odd million were players that weren’t nailed on to be starters, and therefore squad players. Doesn’t meet their agenda though.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Sod 'em, you probably wouldn't need to do much research in order to have the same amount of insight as they do.

I would expect well paid nobs, ex-pros, should do a bit of simple homework, before they spout crap!!!

If you are going into media, you NEED to have sources etc. However, it works in our favour when media thinks we are kippered, and don’t have the resources.

It just means everyone will underestimate us again. I prefer it that way even if it is nauseating to listen to.

Anyone who says there’s no agenda against us in the media would do well to watch that Soccer Saturday clip, truly staggering. No mention of us possibly securing a 3rd place finish despite playing the entire season away from home. Poch and Kane are both leaving apparently and they worry for our future. It will be great to prove them wrong yet again next season though!

What a load of shit on the Gillette Soccer Special. I rewound my sky about an hour to see what they had to see, watched 1 minute and switched over. 'If I was a Spurs fan I'd be concerned, this summer may not have to be about who they bring in but who they sell, Wenger said they may have to sell Kane and he knows the figures when moving stadium and they'll have to find a cheap gem in the summer'. Fuck offff, and that was only in about 45 seconds so god knows what else was spouted.

They talk with as much authority as this bloke called Dennis down my local after he’s had 8 pints. The twat wet himself recently and fell over on the way out after someone had tied his shoelaces together ( he didn’t notice ).

The problem is, they are comparing what happened at arsenal with their new stadium with us..... The one big difference is we have levy, who has been operating our finances well over many seasons now so wouldn't surprise me if a good chunk of the stadium is already sorted and then add on the sponsorship deal on top and you are laughing!

If only these pundits looks back over a few things and not only look at ohh 800+ million new stadium, they can't afford anything for X amount of seasons now.

Soccer Saturday panel really in dire need of freshening up. It won’t happen because it’s an old boys club.

They’re barely disguising it on camera, but I bet there are more then a few ‘Richard Keys’ moments during the advert breaks between the lot of them.

Shearer on MOTD says he doesn't think Spurs will spend enough money this summer and there's every chance Pochettino will leave.

Wright says Spurs need to pay the money (wages).

No wonder being a Spurs fan is such a bipolar existence. Positive result, season and ITK and yet most pundits seem to be all over Poch's comments today as a negative. Ah well...

Shearer on MOTD said he doesn't feel we will change our philosophy and spend this summer.

I for one hope he's wrong and believe he's wrong.

I see MOTD have managed to put a negative spin on another spurs win and our season as a whole. Takes the piss how much the media have got it in for us.

Cue everyone talking about an anti Spurs bias.
