We beat Real big deal they won the CL again.
I didn’t think I was suggesting we were better than Real, i was suggesting that we beat them over two games in ‘this’ seasons Champs league, and it was and we was worth a mention from the pundits when everyone else seem to get one when they were talking about the competition this year and next. Utd, pool and city didn’t win it either.

As my other half often says, "made up stats". She's only ever half-paying attention to the football I'm watching and yet she feels compelled to shout out "Made Up Stats!" about every 20 minutes in most games. Its every 10 minutes if its a Liverpool game on BT. Since she pointed it out I've realised how common this sort of contrived trivial BS is on the tv coverage. They can't say anything about the tactics so they'll either look for controversy where none exists or make up a stat like, "This is the first time Jose Mourinho has lost a game at Wembley on a Saturday since he purchased those new shoes".

Peep Show quote isn’t it?

I quite enjoyed this. I can’t agree on Savage but I do enjoy the Jake Humphrey programme on BT Sport. It’s one of the best programmes out there for me. They are right about Soccer Saturday and print journalists having their day. Quite glad of their demise actually as they are both pompose entities.

Thanks for that.

What they said about Soccer Saturday is spot on. Seeing the five of them do that stupid dance with their bellies hanging out is nauseating; not least because of Merson’s gambling problem.

I like Le Tiss but the other three are dinosaurs. You just know the “when will young English coaches get a chance” mantra will come out after the first managerial causality next year along with “Spurs need to win a trophy” (but Liverpool don’t apparently) etc

Not sure Collymore qualifies as a pundit but if we needed any further evidence of how deluded everyone associated with Liverpool is then here you go. £150m for Eriksen, Dele and Toby :ROFLMAO: won’t even buy you Eriksen’s left nut.

often wondered when pundits and journalists write shit like this (posh to chelsea being another example) - are they really that stupid to actually genuinely believe that Daniel Levy and Poch would decapitate the team weeks before we move into a new stadium, or do they know they are writing bullshit but are on a wind up/clickbait mission?

So happy that Liverpool didn’t win tonight and the fact Bale dis what he did was amazing but the twats on BT sport have not mentioned the fact that we beat Madrid all night. Even at the end when they said who could possibly catch RM next year , they mentioned the 3 other English clubs. They make me sick.

to be honest they never mentioned because the only thing that happened after us beating them was put RM in the harder part of the draw.

we weren't relevant to last nights match. yes we beat RM in the group stage but they done the bizz when it mattered. we also beat them without Bale, and being on a bad run in the league. it was still a tremendous result, but not it wasn't important last night. we got the praise after the 2 results.

In fairness even the Liverpool website that was printed on think it is mental
Yes but what they don’t seem to comprehend is that their top priority should be a goalkeeper, I think that requires the type of in depth analysis that Scousers are incapable of.

Just watching Pep on Monday night football and to be fair he has been quite complimentary about us. Metioned is a few times saying he knew last season when they came to WHL that they wouldn’t win the league and saying how good we were...
and yet everyone lost their shit earlier in the season about the "Harry Kane team" comment, and swore blind he'd just woken up one day and decided to insult us because he was secretly running scared.

What should Klopp do, according to Silly Stan.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::playful:

More hilarity here: just-sign-spurs-trio-for-150m-klopp

The levels of arrogance in that comment are unbelievable... people associated with that club really do believe that it’s still the 70’s and 80’s.

The assumption that our best players would want to go to Liverpool is optimistic at best and to think that they could get those 3 players for £150m is laughable... £50m EACH!!!

Ulrika probably told him what an absolute bell end he is, when he decided to give her a right hander.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

He's at it again...

He's wrong anyway. Levy can dictate the market as he can just say that none of the players are for sale. Just like Steve Parish at Palace can dictate the market for Zaha even though Palace finished way below us and don't have the global appeal of Spurs.
