Arry has always been labelled the Del boy of football management, he likes a big squad and isn't shy of shipping players out in order to get a player in.
After the last transfer window I looked a the size of our squad a thought "Harry really has taken the Yid ARMY too far". 32 first team players on the books, admittedly half a dozen on loan but how is he going to keep all of them happy.
One by one the squad has been shrinking, groin injuries seem to be the 'in thing'. But Harry's big squad policy has saved our season, 16, yes 16 first team players out on loan or injured. Villa would struggle, City may cope but Liverpool would be in a relegation battle, they lose Gerrard and they are clueless, imagine if they lost the likes of Kuyt, Carra etc etc.
I know some may say Harry messed up sending players on loan but I disagree, he had to do this to get answers, are they good enough playing week in week out in the Prem and can some of them find their form and come back a new player next season.
And on the list of 16, I would more than back this team to beat Pompey next week.........
Cudicini
Hutton (loan)
King
Woodgate
Naughton (loan)
Lennon (injured)
Bentley (injured)
Hudd (injured)
Jenas (injured)
Keane (loan)
Defoe (injured)
Subs
Pav (injured)
O'Hara (loan)
Rose (injured)
Walker (injured)
Dos Santos (loan)
