As of yet our esteemed new head coach has yet to speak to the media. Martin Jol won all manner of friends with his dry, honest appraisals.

Nevertheless when he does speak I hope he follows Jol and speaks from the heart. I feel compelled to pen this threat after Wenger claimed that Sparta Prague 'didnt try tonight'. I find that claim insulting and odious to the Czech players involved. I hope Juande speaks with humility and dignity no matter result or circumstance. I HATE WENGER BULLSHIT

I agree. Wenger's disrespect and whinging makes him one of the more repellent managers around.

Although, now seems a good time to state that I hope when Juande Ramos finally starts talking he communicates solely using the medium of Gangster Rap.

I have no idea what that means.

I have no problem with him not speaking. The less he speaks, the less he's in the press, and frankly, Spurs have been in the papers far too often in 2007 for my liking.

I thought he spoke most eloquently at his first press conference, it's just that he spoke in Spanish.

Mind you when he did speak in English at the end he said "Sod off you pack of hyenas You are too far beneath me for me to bother with" OK the words he used were "I speak English to my players and Spanish to you" but we all know that's what he meant.

He's been here just over a month and already he's got the British press salivating at the prospect of him one day condecending to drop them a word or two.

Its amazing the few times ramos has spoken to the press.... it seems as though his mouth is doing one thing and the words that are coming out are another.... strange...

Jol was great towards the media, and that is what made him so popular. He always responded in a calm manner no matter what happened, and always had a good answer with a good sense of humour in it. He did not have the tactical knowledge to put us further ahead, and that was a shame. Jol is a great man, but he had to leave because of his defensive thinking mentality.

I like Ramos' tactical philosophy. He likes to attack, and I have heard him say that he don't want the performance to change based on the scoreline. He wants to play attacking football no matter if we are 2-0 down or 2-0 up. That is the key to success, and that is something I have been waiting for.

The result should never affect the play. We shall continue to attack even though we are 2 or 3 up, but also of course when we are down. Trying to protect a lead ( like Jol did), will cause us a lot more problems.

Ramos seems to be a wise man, and I am looking forward to hearing him talk to the media in the coming years.
