Short and sweet today as I’m still struggling to come to terms with the fact that we are more than likely not travelling to the European championships now.

What on earth do we do with the Robbo now for Spurs and England…?

A. Keep playing him and hope he comes through it.

B. Drop him with immediate effect until he’s back to his best.

C. Send him away (out of the spot light) for a period of time to try and get his head right.

D. Or replace him with a GOAT.

keep him in goal and stop jumping on his back for every goal that is conceded, every keeper makes mistakes just robbo can not move past his because the media and stupid fans wont let him

Keep playing him until January, then buy someone to compete with him.

well said ever.

England let the fans down last night, not just Robbo. We couldn't keep the ball or take our chances.

I'd love him to be dropped for England. Not that there are much matches for England left.

The England goalie job comes with a harsh, harsh spotlight. With his current slump the last thing he needs is the amount of pressure being an England goalie brings.

Well I suppose he's was on a plane home to a hot bath and some rest. Following that, probably reporting for light training today, lunch at the lodge and vids to watch regarding the game this weekend. Maybe a spot of shopping on the way home...

I'm going to the next four home games, sitting in Park Lane, and I damn sure better not be the only one singing my heart out for Robbo.

When did Robbo stop being one of our most supported players? Never. Thats when. Of course he'll be supported by Spurs fans every time he pulls on our jersey, and rightly so.

But just because we support him doesn't mean he isn't hurting the team. He really hasn't made any enormous mistakes, but the boys in front of him clearly don't have the confidence in him and that is suicidal for a football team. He is conceding similar types of goals repeatedly and looks mentally broken.

The problem is that Jol knows the second we drop him, we may as well write off his career at Spurs. Maybe ever. Very sad for such a good keeper.

What he really needs - and has needed for 18 months - is a mentor. I'm actually less worried by Robbo's 'clangers'TM than the rumours that he first told Big Pat to fuck off and now shows disrespect to someone like Pete Shilton, by not accepting their offer of support.

i think he needs an enforced holiday. 2 weeks in the sun, and 4 weeks out of the team.

should help him clear his head, relax more, and come back better.

He used to get much more support from Park Lane than he does now.

Certain people are being so unforgivingly harsh on him that should ANY replacement concede a goal from any sort of distance, or let one in that is say within 6 inches of his hands, a rebound or whatever, then it therefore must, for the sake of fairness and consistency, be that persons fault.

The same people who delight in giving him such vitriol will then defend what is currently inexcusable.

Just don't read SC if you are Spurs goalkeeper

His confidence is shot to bits. We're going to have to endure his very public "finding his form". In the meantime, our season could be pissed up the wall.

I'll always support him when he's playing in the shirt but will grumble away while he keeps clowning around.

Hopefully Sunderland get relegated and we'll make a bid for Gordon.

I sit in Park Lane lower and like always support all our players including Robbo. Robbo, for me, is probably the most supported player. That does'nt mean I am happy with him. For me, he is making too many mistakes and has been for a while but for whatever reason our manager is not dropping/resting him. He could well be the downfall of our manager.

Not good enough. Makes the same errors. A Georgia player had a shot last night and he never held it. Luckily for him there was a defender on hand.

all the home nations made the same mistake, pushed the ball out unfortuantly with robbo the players in front of him are to slow to react, especially for spurs
