The prospect of playing all our home matches at Wembley is looking less than appealing after every game. But what else could we do ?

Can we seriously stop blaming a fucking football ground? If the team cannot adapt to its surroundings the it says a lot about that side.

Just delay Wembley for a season until we have a squad with slightly more depth.

I have never liked Wembley as a stadium and don't want us to play there, however the 'curse' is just an excuse for poor performance and being weak. Also most of the fans, and particularly the Trust, went on and on and on at Levy to get us Wembley and how no other option would do... So all those experts needs to suck it up and put up with it for a year now.

The Valley.

Charlton needs the money. Bigger capacity than Craven Cottage and not the worst ground to get to.

If we actually hope to ever again win a domestic cup then we're inevitably going to have to get over this supposed Wembley hoodoo at some point. What better way than to play an entire season there? Surely we can't lose every game?

Seriously?

So should we just leave half a new stadium in the middle of Tottenham?

Sometimes you have to take a step back to take two forwards.

I genuinely believe if we spend another season at WHL we will be as strong if not stronger than this season. Moving to Wembley puts that in jeopardy, IMO. I worry that all our progress on the pitch will be undone with a move to Wembley next year.

If we don't win anything this year and don't finish in the top four next year at Wembley, do you think players like Lloris, Toby and Dembele are gonna stay just because we have shiny new stadium? I'm not so sure.

There is no jinx but it is a shit stadium. That was though the best atmosphere I have seen at it today though created by us. It helped having a 5pm kick off though and everyone wankered

I think they would, actually. The project was a big reason players sign for the club or sign new contracts.

What happens if we stagnate next season at WHL? You've just delayed getting a massive increase in revenues for no reason.

I find it frankly ludicrous that some people think it's fine for us to delay us moving into the very thing that's meant to allow us to take a big step forward.

The season at Wembley has to happen at some point, no point just delaying and delaying.

I get where you're coming from mate, you can make arguments for almost any scenario to do with the new stadium.
