And why has Dawson not been dropped yet. Tony Gardener should have been given a chance. The two games he has started this season and we won against derby and drew against man utd... Why is he not playing...

huddlestone should be playing. I checked physioroom.com and this is what it says:

Tottenham Hotspur 5 P Robinson Calf Muscle Strain 28th Oct 07 A Lennon Knee Injury 22nd Oct 07 slight doubt R Rocha Ankle/Foot Injury 15th Dec 07 W Routledge Knee Injury no return date very doubtful L King Cartilage Knee Injury 25th Nov 07

Where is he and why is Zokora playing instead of him We only seem to lose when that knob is messing up the central midfield.... Huddlestone is class and should be playing in front of that twat zokora..

Martin Jols tactics are appauling and he is fast turning into a total joke in interview.....
I'm sick and tired of him just talking about Ledley King... we have lots of good players and if they were coached properly and organised tactically properly we would do a hell of a lot better!!

Dawson played absolutely appallingly, but if you think Gardner would do a better job you're going to be seriously disappointed the next time we're forced to play him through injuries.

We did not draw against man utd.

apologies, lost one nil... better than 4-4 against aston villa or 3-1 against a terrible newcastle team and we played very well defensivly....

Anyway forget that. Gardener would be better than dawson! Dawson has been awful whenever king is not alongside him...

Huddlestone gives the midfield so much more creativity. He's not perfect but he balances with either zokora or jenas. The other two together is like removing the central midfield.

glad to see Gardner getting some support - I remember a lot of Spurs fans wanted rid of him and Salty this summer - glad we still got both - we're gonna need them I reckon

Huddlestone had just played two games in a week. and as we have about 6 games in 12 days probably rested

and in that last U21 game looked poor, trying to look like he owned the place but only looking like he owned a copy of fat and slow.

Huddlestone needs to play on thursday against Getafe, it will be good for his confidence to play a game where he is put under much less pressure than the average Joe Premiership team. Given that Zokora couldn't influence the game at home to Anorthosis Nomegusta I think it's safe to say he wouldn't be able to against a decent spanish side.

I think if Bent starts Hudd should start (most times anyway) as he's likely to play the right passes for him.

I was surprised to see Berb rested last night - I'd have thought Bent Defoe & Hudd to start on Thursday - but hey what do I know :)

I've been saying it for a while and I'll say it again. Tony Gardner makes far less mistakes than Dawson and IMO is a better defender but for some reason his constantly downcasted.... I hope it's not a subconsciously racist outlook towards him.

Dawson in stature and posture represents what we want, old fashion English defender but the problem is his makes, far to many fatal error and without the speed and experience of Ledley King beside him he looks far from a premiership player and more a championship defender.

Tony Gardner had an unbalanced period within his spurs career and wasn't helped in his development playing with the like of Dorthey, If memo serves me correctly he just missed out on on Sol Campbell's guidance which so tremendously helped Ledley King. TG is a completely different player now but (injury's haven't helped him) still not given the slack Dawson's continually gets.

He's slow, immobile, and all in all not that good, wouldn't have offered anything to yesterdays match

He is not immobile, you have just made an assumption becuase of his size. He has the best passing range in our whole squad and can score goals as well. His only replacement is zokora who is possibly the worst athlete ever to pull on a spurs shirt, makes me sick...

I'm not a great advocate of AG but I will support him against your comment that he is slow. AG is very quick over 10m and covered the ground well any time I have seen him play, he is much quicker than Dawson.

Gardener is not as good as Daws. Daws is doing the same thing ALL young players do after our coaches has got a hold of them. Gone backwards.

Same goes for Hud, BAE, Lennon, Ziegler, Robbo, etc etc etc etc. The list is endless, and frankly criminal.

Case in point: Bent. Top English Prem scorer in a crap team.

Coached by Spurs: Worst striker in the Prem.
