I've heard Brussels is a bit dead in terms of nightlife, sure it wont be when we all turn up over there, i can't wait.

I recommend the Poechenellekelder off the Grand Place, opposite the Manikin Pis, and the Beer Circus in Rue de l'Enseignement, but there are plenty of others. Go easy, though, if you've not tried much Belgian beer before. Unless you stick to piss like Maes and Jupiler your head will feel like it's got legs in no time.

When we played in prague the majority of people drank in English pubs, besides I know a number of spurs fans that will be drinking there.

Besides, every time I've been to Brussels I've found the bars boring in comparison to a number of places I've been. Sure they serve a lot of different beers, but have all the atmosphere of the Emirates.

And given our not so friendly relationship with Anderlecht fans, I'm quite happy to drink with spurs fans in an Irish bar thanks.

Not at all mate, will be drinking in the Queens before the match tomorrow, as am meeting a couple of Spam supporting mates there for some pre match beers!

To be fair there will be a fair few out in Brussels, so I'm sure a number of bars will be full of us, but based on Prague and Cologne for the Leverkusen game the Irish pubs did seem to give the best atmosphere.

anderlecht is not a good area, bit grim, even by brussels standards (whole city needs a lick of paint), anywhere near the grand place is ok

Yeah, wasn't great in Cologne was it (apart from the Christmas markets of course).

Met the guy who has hired de Valera's at the game today, who has told me there are over 275 confirmed going there on the 6th, plus maybe another 600 yids coming down from Norway.

So, should be a good atmosphere.
