Fucking Nancy boys the lot of you. We are going to win the semi and then fuck Chelsea and Conte up the ass in an epic final. Believe - you sad ****s! :D

In-keeping with the cheery poll options I’ll go with option ‘c’, die an excruciatingly painful death before the semi final.

Nah what I mean is why would that be the better option? What do you get for second place?

To put things in proper context at the turn of 1986 into 1987 we were on course for a treble.

Clive Allen scoring for fun.

The league flopped, Everton won - mostly in my opinion we dropped too many points at home, we had some amazing awaydays and I was at most of those matches too. Finished 3rd Sound familiar ?

In March we went out to Arsenal in the League Cup,semi final
  • 8 February: Arsenal 0–1 Tottenham Hotspur
  • 1 March: Tottenham Hotspur 1–2 Arsenal (a.e.t). Went to a 3rd tie at WHL
  • 4 March: Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Arsenal Spursiest ever
May 1987
FA Cup Final vs Coventry
Allen scores in the 3rd minute, I thought here we go..

Then lost our first ever FA Cup final - when winning the FA Cup was still worth the effort

Losing THAT cup final was probably the most heartbreaking day in my 50+ years of supporting Spurs.

It scarred me as a kid, I shed tears.

Depressing question lol. But losing to man united over losing to Chelsea, regardless of which way round the fixtures were. Hate Chelsea.
