"But Harry has not yet entered his peak years, and many feel that his brilliance should be rewarded at a team capable of winning the Premier League and Champions League every year, with Manchester United, "

Slightly selective editing by you there tbf as they then go on to say
Ambitious Tottenham will rightly claim they are that team, given they have finished way above United to claim consecutive third and second placed league finishes in 2015-16 and 2016-17, and already look like they will be in the title mix again this season.

I find it shambolic from the media this push to sell Harry Kane. It seems anytime we have a decent player there's a frenzy to sell

Call me cynical if you like, but I am of the opinion that many journos are in the pocket of the big clubs. What better way for the rich clubs to try and unsettle players when thy want to buy them. Pay a few journos to keep the story in the news in the hope the player will crack and chase the cash. They can waste their money on such despicable tactics for all I care - I strongly believe it won't work with Harry.

Luckily for us, Harry has always made it clear he wants to be a one club man. He has the confidence Spurs will definitely start to start winning trophies and become one of Europe's top clubs. I trust him as I trust Poch. He also has the targets dear to his heart of slowly overtaking all the Spurs players records. All the things he yearns for will be possible at Spurs and I am not in the least bit nervous when such talk of harry moving crops up.

COYS :)

The way to keep Kane was the way to Bale and Modric - build a team so good no player thinks he's better off somewhere else. I'm not claiming we're up there with Real, I suspect this'll be proved over the next few weeks. We are a lot closer, when Bale quit we'd missed champions league and weren't really challenging domestically. We're now good enough to change that. Once one or two stay others will want to as well.
