I have only been down once on a non match day to collect a ticket and go to the Spurs shop. We approached from Stanstead direction via the M11 and then the A406 and then in near IKEA / Tescos and from there drove in and was able to get parked in one of the side streets about a 2/3 minute walk from the corner of the East and South stand and was ok for about an hour

Yes, side street just by the spurs shop, turn off Tottenham High Road by the lights, along the side road with stadium to your left, you can then park on any one of the turnings on your right, preferably 2nd right.

I parked on Park Lane (I always do what it says on the tin) when I went to the Spurs Shop to see the Carling Cup and you can park in the Paxton car park if you need to go to the ticket office. There's loads of parking in the side streets too.
