Morning guys,

Hope you're all well.

With the news that Trippier is out injured we've done a piece on players Pochettino could bring in as cover/to rival him this season.

"While Mauricio Pochettino says the club do not yet know the full extent of Trippier’s injury, there are growing concerns he will miss the start of the season. As a result, it’s perfectly reasonable to imagine that Daniel Levy has ramped up the search for a replacement to Walker’s replacement.

The market currently has a variety of intriguing right-backs, so here are five Spurs should target."

Five potential right-backs for Spurs

It's obvious how to replace Trippier. We got almost £50m for Walker. Stick that big pile of cash out on the right. There's not a footballer in the Premier League who would run past that. Ok, I accept it has it's limitations going forward.

That Cancelo sounds like a good player for us, but I remember being impressed whenever I saw Soares... but then he's the sort of full back I like, and actual defender who reads the game well. Poch tends to prefer powerful, aggressive wing backs with plenty of stamina for his system.

Cancelo would be my choice of 'available' players at the moment. Of the young guns, I prefer Henrichs to Toljan.

Didn't Veltman commit to Ajax, being their newly selected captain and signing a new contract? Big shame, really. Back in May I kinf of thought he would sign for Spurs.

Only limitations in speed though, crossing accuracy would be about the same.
