It’s a good draw. We will be favourites to go through and so we should be. We are a better team than Dortmund and fancy us to beat them. Would much prefer to play these than Juventus, PSG, Real or even Bayern. COYS

Not sure we'll be favourites, they are running away with their league.

Will they still be running away with it in February? Two months is a long time, even if they have their winter break.

I'm much more confident that I would've been against Juve or PSG. Those were the two to avoid for me. Plus you never know what Real team will show up in the new year, they usually click into gear as soon as they play a knockout match.

I like Dortmund as a club but I'm getting tired of playing them in Europe tbh. 3 times in 4 seasons now. Need to sign a midfielder to really have a good shot as their ball movement and pressing is superb this season

2 positives. Dortmund doesn't have that aura that bayern Madrid juve and psg have. Think that is huge psychologically. Second, every team has a dip in form and as dormund havent had one yet they should have one around our game against them

Who knows? That's why i said i'm not sure we'll be favourites. I didn't say it was a bad draw either.

Didn't take long for us to take the Champions League for granted!

Holy shit. They are unbeaten. Didn't realize.

This will be a game of fine margins and I think a key factor will be if Bayern can pull themselves back into the title race. If the gap is still 9 points (or more) come February then its nailed on that they will rest players ahead of each tie.

Also, our 2nd leg will be 3 days after playing Arsenal!

I kind of agree with the post you quoted tbh, and the first of the three ties was a Ropey League fixture.

Just on the basis of playing different teams I'd much rather have drawn Bayern. It's never as fun playing the same team two years running in Europe, no matter CL or EL.
