Who is Sofyan Amrabat? The left-field midfield target on Tottenham's radar

Tottenham travelled to Florence with the expectations of supporters that they'd return with Dusan Vlahovic in tow. So to have gone to Italy to negotiate a deal for Sofyan Amrabat, it will feel like a underwhelming trip back to London if that deal comes to fruition. It's no secret that Spurs are looking to sign a new central midfielder before next week's deadline with Tanguy Ndombele, Dele Alli and Giovani Lo Celso free to leave in the final knockings of the January window, yet few could have predicted Amrabat would be high on the club's wishlist.

Sufian was a traitor to the Islamic Cause in history and began the deviation into dynastic rule that has caused trouble to the Islamic world to this day.

I was thinking it was the midfielder who was shit for Watford for a bit. Turns out it's his brother.

He's a good player. He played really well for Verona but I think he's been off form. This could be a really effective option. Or at worst he's a steady back up until the summer

Never seen him play until tonight (don't hammer me, just my 2 cents worth on a one game watch) and he looks like a downgrade on Winks to me on that evidence alone, he hardly ever left the centre circle against mediocre opposition.
I'd like to think he's only like this in a Morocco shirt of course but not the most inspiring possibility of a signing, on one games evidence..

Paratici told him to look like an average player to keep his price down.

Maybe that's how the manger wants him to play. It actual shows really good tactical discipline, if that was his job.

He's not going to be a signing that lights things up. He's a stability signing. Someone Conte can rely on to do what he's asked. Clearly Conte wants Dele, Ndombele and GLC out as soon as possible. Amrabat is not going to be first choice and I'd be surprised if we haven't upgraded by the end of the summer but for now it's a smart move as it will give us a reliable option for CM until we can sort out who we want in the summer (now Kessie seems to have agreed with Barca)

Sounds wonderful and stuff. Can’t wait for the customary wait until 11pm on the 31st to find out if we’re going to sign anyone…
