emascualting King if he ever were to get fit would be a total cock up on the managers side. I think we'd see a previously loyal King far more suseptable to having his head turned by Chavs or goons or UTD or Liverpool. That won't be allowed to happen.

Besides you can have more than one player, infact you should have more than one player, on the picth will to dish bollockings, calm play and focus players during the 90 mins.

I personally don't think that Ledley will ever play for another team. He is spurs to the core and proud to be where he is, captain or no.

I think Zokora will be his main man in midfield, so maybe he could be Ramos' choice as captain. He has the attributes Ramos is looking for. He has pace, is a leader, is a hard working player, good tecnique.

A good spliff was it?

Quite successful making him captain against Getafe, no?

ramos is probably thinking about zokora but would give it to tainio if he could stay fit. i dont think he sees keane as a regular striker and he doesnt have the pace to displace lennon so keane wont be captain. i have a feeling defoe will be his main striker, with bent and berby battling everyweek to start.

Yea, because Keane isn't scoring enough goals at the moment to make the bench let alone the starting 11. Regardless of the style he wants to play, i think Ramos will accommodate our captain and top scorer for a while yet.

I love this.
Standing up.....................
King is finished as a regular member of the team.
Like with Jol et al, time to look anew and get someone who will PLAY a full season.
He will buy.

I think Stalteri will be captain. He is experienced, vocal and at least tries to stay in defence.

(OK I don't really think he will be captain, I just wanted to have another pop at chimbo).

oh behave yourself. Firstly that is speculation secondly you don't need to take away the club captancy from Ledley to get another capt on the pitch... or as i've said before several captains an leaders.

Might get a flame or two for this, but i think Kaboul will make a great cap in the future. In the last game he stepped in and defused a situation with absolute ease and the players listened and backed off with respect and quite probably fear :D The minute i saw that i thought future captain.

As for now there are not many leaders, im not a fan of making a striker a cap, only midfielders and defenders, i don't need to explain my logic on it cos i'm sure we've all had the what positions make for best caps convo.

I'd say if we have to risk it, by making someone cap it might make them came out of their shell. Maybe Robinson (for confidence, but i dont think the defense much listen to his words anyway now days) or Huddlestone, i say Huddlestone because supposidly off pitch he is quite an outspoken character at times, so he just needs to grow a pair on the pitch?

i was reading this but didnt see the avatar , straight away i thought that must be some kind of SpursKing comment.

really though zokora does have some good qualities but i thought he was meant to be a defensive midfielder and if so he should stop bloody running up the pitch all the time and restrain himself and do some hard tackling in the middle of the pitch , covering the defence, its not that tough a job is it, you dont really have to run as much and cover your back 4.

its weird why no one in the last season has grasped this job.
gilberto silva for arsenal does a brill job of it and seeing as we leak tons of goals in it would be a clear job to do.
