Who will stay? Who will go?

It's mind-boggling how many transfer rumours there are flying around. These are just some of them and it will be interesting to see how many of them actually happen:

Going (some probably, some possibly): Berbatov, Rocha, Stalteri, Robinson, Chimbonda, Lee Young-Po, Lennon.

Coming (who knows for sure?): Hart, Anelka, Bentley, Eto'o, Villa, Moya, Pedersen, Kameni.

Whatever happens, there will be some real shakeups and changes and next season should be something special. Who would you like to see go and who do you want to stay?

If I could choose one player to join Spurs it would be Torres, but that's highly unlikely (sadly).

There are MANY great players 'out there' who are totally unknown to EPL watchers....so have some confidence in our 'talent' watchers (who knew Berby before he was unearthed....well...who appreciated his real potential?).
We must just clench cheeks and hope for the best (and wildest0 ride of this, our 4th or 5th NEW DAWN at WHL! The longer this ride goes on....the older we get....and more quickly....Awwwww well....c'est la vie, mes braves! COYS!

I think there's a very big difference between who we want to sell and who we could sell.

The likes of Rocha, Salty, etc (in effect all the old-timers) we want to sell, but i can't see a buyer. Perhaps a team in just breaking into the Prem? But that would mean only 3 buyers so it's still difficult.

Rocha will undoubtedly go back to portugal.
I really feel sorry for the guy, he never really had a chance.

I think the biggest impact on our transfers this season has been and will be the quality of players attracted to Spurs because of our managers reputation.
Our board will be under extreme pressure to release the kind of funds that match the ambition and hunger of Ramos!
He is the one reason Woodgate and Modric signed for us - players want to play for him because he is a winner and there will be many more who will want to join his quest for success in England!

The ONE player I would love us to buy is Rene Gattuso. I've never seen him have a bad game and he would be awesome as our midfield dynamo. :grin:

And possibly:

out: kaboul, chimbo, boateng, Robbo, Taarabt, Dervite
(Loans for the 3 french lads would be good IMO)


Looking at the official site, we've 30 players (including Modric and taking it that Cerny has signed for QPR).

If we get rid of let's say 8 or 9 (& I've listed 13 possible exits!), we'll need to be signing 3 or 4 I'd imagine. (definitely more if we sell our only goalie in Robbo)

Who I want to go:

Tab, Robinson, Kaboom, KPB, Lennon, BAE, Hud (all the flash players with zero athletic/mental ability)

Rocha, Gardner, Gilberto need to go because they don't seem to work in our systems.

Arda Turan would cost peanuts and would be great prospect in front of Bale on the left. One of the best crossers in his age group. A left foot? Can cross? Plays as a natural winger? YES PLEASE!

David Silva also would be great on the left for us.
