I have over 400 loyalty points but less than the 418 that was the cut off for a ticket. What I don't understand is, if you look at the ticketing page on the club website, there are 2,510 season ticket holders with 400 points or more. So, even if everyone of them applied for a ticket, with an allocation of 2,600 everyone with over 400 and a few more should have got a ticket. How does this work ??

I think 13% goes to Corporate, then there are some that go to players families etc leaving probably closer to the 2,200 mark for normal season ticket holders. But does imply that virtually every season ticket holder with 400+ points applied.

Also think the capacity is slightly lower than normal, which indicates the smaller than expected allocation... but could be wrong?

My entire group is making the trip to Dam, so roughly 40 odd of us and I'd say only half have tickets. I've never seen us win a European away game in about 10 trips (not including Hearts), so hoping staying away from the ground helps the result!

Should be a good trip regardless, there'll be thousands over there without tickets, should be a proper party atmosphere.

I also missed out by a few points like you @KevinW. Absolutely heartbroken to see so many with less points but the right connections get tickets yet i'm stuck.

is there no clips v Juventus:cautious:

Ajax and Juventus have a historical rivalry, and the latter are also friends with ADO Den Haag, which has always harboured a deep hatred against Ajax. Dozens of Juve hooligans were subsequently arrested in Amsterdam as they had all kinds of weapons smuggled with them.

With Spurs these sentiments do not play any role. I doubt we will see any clashes.

I'm going tic decide after the game tonight. My guy in Amsterdam had problems getting a ticket himself, despite being a season ticket holder, because UEFA requisitioned his seat. I wasn't expecting him to magic up a ticket for me too obviously, but you always have that faint hope.

Well, he couldn't work any miracles although he did have a go. So we'll have a quick drink before the game and a longer one after. If I go.

His comment was that there was way too much complacency on the Ajax side and this is a totally different deal to playing with no pressure/expectations in Turin or Madrid. We'll find out soon enough.

Hmmm maybe spending hundreds of pounds on this wasn't so smart

It’s the experience of a CL semi final away day. Will be thousands out there. Most without tickets. Should be a cracking trip and we are still very much in the tie

Nah, I don't think much of our fans cherish a aversion against Spurs. There hasn't been that much problems with the fans of other opponents here in Amsterdam on CL-nights. In fact, it has been mostly peaceful with both sides being close to each other.

When the Austrians visited us:

Apparently for the final both clubs get 18,000 tickets. As in 9K each. The rest taken by UEFA.

About an hour or so before the game. I was right in amongst it, but didn’t get involved. They were throwing quite a lot of bottles and also some bricks.

The police were massively outnumbered and nearly lost control of the situation.

This guy seems to have captured some of it.

It kicked off further up the high road too where the old bill had barracaded the street, our fans were there waiting for their fans who were in a police escort, there was a few scuffles and bottles thrown.
