I think that fateful night when we lost to West Ham was a major slap in the face to Spurs fans ..

When those "legends" labels were being bandied about by Rachel fackin Riley and with the msm in general climbing on
that bandwagon it hurt and all the other teams and supporters joined in the melee - it deflected a lot of other teams failings in their own miserable achievements.

Look at Citeh .. Prior to playing us at WHL they had won the first six PL games on the spin and were being touted as good candidates for the quadruple.

Now they are hoping to scrape into the CL. legends much ?

They are drumming up interest for viewing figures for the final day.

Fact is our season is run and today's match is an irrelevance other than to Spurs or Hull fans.

Really? Tell that to Hugo and Kane....Golden Boot and Glove on the line. From what I saw on Thursday this will not be like last years final game.

Why are they leaving Poch out? Rather than taking a swipe can you explain the reasoning behind leaving the manager out of a graphic showing the best teams/managers in the league when he has guided us into second and been in a title race two seasons in a row?

Can you explain to me why people, despite overwhelming evidence, are choosing to ignore an obvious ignorance towards our achievements in the media? I am not suggesting we don't get a few platitudes here and there but it's pretty evident it's through gritted teeth at this point and always followed by "But can they keep their players?" or some other extremely negative viewpoint.

It's quite easy to criticise people for suggesting it's all "conspiracy bollocks" but that's not really a compelling argument against the evidence being shown is it?

I am also honestly puzzled as to why the same people continuously defend this behaviour as well, when you have ex professionals at the club and even our own manager highlighting how the media are always talking about us selling our players etc and yet the same 4-8 people on this board that pop up every time something like this is discussed seem to think they know better than the majority of people complaining about this issue and yet never offer any compelling evidence or reasoning to oppose the arguments.

Just comments like "It's like RAWK on here sometimes, embarrassing"
You are beginning to sound like a kid who craves attention. Can't you just enjoy our position in the table and the football we play? Who gives a fuck what the press think. They are mostly a bunch of ****s anyway.

It's funny because I hear the opposite from other fans.

Sky didn't invent football. They are just a supplier of footage of the event.

I don't care.

Name for me please any other club who are victim of this rampant bias. Surely there must be a few? Or are we going to descend into even more ridiculous realms of fantasy and become a posh Millwall with only one difference? No one likes us BUT we care?

The majority of this stuff exists only because you're looking for it.

Who we have to play is irrelevant, they were talking about big managers and big teams in the league playing on the final weekend, that was the context, it wasn't about the implications of results, hence Mourinho being there, what are United playing for this weekend?

Oh you can't remember the last time finishing second was headline news? You mean like when Liverpool finished second and we had 2 seasons of pundits talking about how they were destined to win the league? Do you not remember how over the top the media were when Liverpool looked like they were going to win it?

Every single time a pundit on Sky mentions us it's always followed by trying to push the idea that we aren't going to keep our best players, our own manager has highlighted that and complained about it, the media trying to turn our players heads on a consistent basis, last season Poch complained about how he felt Leicester were getting an easy run of things with other teams as well and how he felt the media were against us, I mean, is Poch just indulging in conspiracies as well?

OR is it just a handful of people here who refuse to acknowledge the fact the media is an old boys club full of ex gooners, ex Liverpool players and United players etc all living in a fantasy land where only the "big four" still matter and they will do whatever they can to ensure it continues to be that way.

I don't want spurs TV, I just want some fair and balanced representation for spurs and for them to stop repeating the same bullshit over and over about us being a selling club and trying to tag us as "legends" whilst clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal are just having a "blip" or any other number of excuses they come up with.

That is hilarious, especially when it comes from people who go out of their way to give spam/funny ratings in threads they are clearly not interested in.

Nobody is forcing anybody to open threads about these things and read about the "conspiracies" other posters are talking about and yet, they choose to go out of their way to make sarcastic comments, fling shit posts because, well, they crave attention.

Thanks for proving my point btw, the high level trolling is becoming a serious bore with a few certain posters who treat this place like a playground rather than a place for discussion about a football club.

Led Zeppelin's post

"Anyway, uncomfortable though it may be, the question of whether we can keep this wonderful squad together is obviously pertinent, and is usually framed in positive terms, suggesting there no limit to what we can achieve with this team."

Their (Sky@s) questioning is very pertinent when you consider the financial muscle of the club compared to those around us. The question could be asked "How can we sustain the progress year in year out" but that is less dramatic the singling out players who might go to other clubs and asking how we might keep them

I want Spurs to turn into a dynasty but it will take more than unearthing talented youngsters to supplement the group we have at present. The stadium is start but transfer fees and wages will play a major part in the success or otherwise

It is a pertinent question, one they ask after every game, before every game, during half time, even during half time at our final game at home before our stadium is demolished.

With Henry being the mouthpiece, when does it stop being a pertinent question and start becoming an agenda?

I don't take this place seriously at all lol, it's a forum, I am sitting here eating a sandwich and enjoying my sunday, that doesn't mean I find childish behavior any more appealing.

There is a reason I use a forum rather than a site like twitter, which is full of shit posters and vacuous trolls, you are essentially just excusing poor behavior and hiding behind a wall of "lol, it's just the internet, chill!"

If people want to disagree with my opinions and give me a reason why then that's completely fine, I want a discussion about it, I want to hear conflicting opinion so I can question my own. At least @Archibald&Crooks explains at length why he disagrees with me and gives the reasons as to why.

What I don't want is to log on here and feel like all I am getting is funny ratings and spam rating from the same 5-6 posters on a consistent basis who never engage me in meaningful dialogue but instead use the opportunity to just spam ratings for the "lulz" it's just tedious.

It's often the people who tell others to stop taking things so seriously that, are themselves, taking it far too seriously, in my experience.

Oh sweetie. Your constant going on about how hard done by we are just smacks of being a bad loser. How everyone hates us, the refs are favouring everyone else, Leicester are using black magic...... You sound like a spoilt child who doesn't get what he wants, so that is the reason for the Spam and Funny ratings because that is really how I see you. Sorry for upsetting you. It wasn't my intention.

You truly are just proving my point every single time you post. For someone who tells someone else to not take a forum too seriously you aren't doing yourself any favors here, you seem obsessed with what I post and seem to take personal offense to it?

If you find my posts a problem then ignore them or disagree with them and tell me why, try to have a civil discussion with me.

I never said everyone hates us, I never said Leicester used "black magic" all my points about these things have had reasoning behind them and detailed explanation as to why I think it is the case and why I think they have occurred, I never said I was right, I could be wrong.

You disagree with my opinions on these things, that doesn't mean my reasoning is based on being a "bad loser" or a "spoilt child" you see me as a spoilt child for having a differing opinion to you on something? And then to counteract that behave like a spoilt child yourself?

That doesn't make much sense to me.

I am watching the game right now and I am done with this discussion, do whatever you wish to do, spam and funny rate as much as you want, waste your time for all I care. (y)

I don't think Sky hate us per se. I think it's more about me not renewing my broadband service with them.
