Would like to know why Lennon is not being used for England at any level is he too old for the under 21s or like the senior side just frozen out because if so i just don't understand it.I know Lennon has had a dip in form and is just starting to get it to gether now but i think on his day he is unplayable and at least should be on the bench as a impact player.

Lennon hasn'y been on great form for Club in a limited amount of appearences since his knee injury. Bently, SWP are both on better form and Beckham is still the single most likely player eligble to play for England toah can create a goal.

On Lennon's last few showings though i don't think it'll be long till he gets back into the squad

Lennon was injured for the first part of the season, and has slowly built up his performances, wasn't really a surprise when others have been playng better all season.

I think it's a surprise considering, before he got injured, Lennon was an immediate starter for England on the right (ahead of Backham and SWP). Anyone else who gets injured usually walks straight back into the starting line-up at the first opportunity.

Do we really want to risk him getting injured in a pointless friendly? Or in a lost cause if the Ivans win tomorrow, as they most likely will?

Can't shoot, can barely cross, requires a ladder for heading, defensive lightweight/liability, and quite possibly attitude/extra curricular activities?

Apart from that...?

Well he has been injured all the time and was good only against Wigan which is shittest team in PL since it started in 92....

Who gives a fuck? Seriously? The less our players are involved with the England circus the better

When discussing England, surely you have to take your Spurs hat off? He's not been playing well enough and or fit enough to warrant a place in the side.

sounds like the England midfeild from last night.

Lennon can get stuck in and isn't as bad as people think when he does defend.

All true, bit harsh perhaps but whatever reason there is for him not being in the England squad is fine by me, with Bale out he is the only player who gives us any real width down the flanks.

Wether the service is there or not, at least he is there to have a go...

I'm glad he's not in the England squad at the moment. He can focus on getting fit and getting his form back.

only got back to his best recently, was injured for quite some time and SWP has been outstanding when playing for Avram Grant. Having Becks back means the squad has its quota of 2 RM with Joe Cole and Stevie G possibilities for that role too

He WILL be back in the side, I think its good, gives im a kick up the arse.
