The Tottenham manager has a clear idea of the players he wants to sell this summer, with a squad overhaul set to take place as he enters the second year of a five-year contract

"The lack of personal feedback is frustrating. As a player you want to be told where to improve. Do I need to work on my weaker foot? Is it my tactical positioning? Do I need to get fitter?

“You don’t want to be told that everything is fine when you’re not getting the playing time you want.”

This one is a bit slow on the uptake.

"Mauricio Pochettino spends most afternoons camped in his office at Tottenham’s plush north London training centre with his trusted inner circle"

Brag, Three Card Stud, or Pontoon?

In the past the litany of former players that have come out praising his managerial abilities include: Lambert, Lallana, Shaw, Schneiderlein, Wanyama, Ward-Prowse etc. These guys wouldn't all come out saying similar things if the Poch only spoke to 3 out of a 25-man squad.

I can't imagine the likes of Bentaleb & Mason being frozen out, in fact Mason says he was with Poch & the coaches in his office when he received the info he'd been called up to the England squad. I think there is a degree of truth in the article, but I can't imagine to the extent that's being suggested.

If you're crap & refuse to make any attempt to get better, then you deserve the 'cold-shoulder' treatment. Those players are paid professionals who ought to be doing all they can to be the best they can, however its frustrating to see how so many take so many liberties with the club. Its a privilege to play for such a famous-club, but as long as their pay-cheque clears fine, then the desire to try & be a winner deserts them. I've had enough & I look forward to the Poch taking a hard-line stance with them.

Good riddance to them all come the end of the season, they should be ashamed.

on the 'out this summer list' in the article, i agree with it apart from Lennon. he should not be axed, he's been loyal and has never kicked up a stink, while on the bench.

I would not be surprised if Stobart's source on this is the same player who can never stay out of the media and always has to blab on about something.
