Tottenham Hotspur have entered the chase for St Etienne defender William Saliba but some fans have questioned whether the club would loan back a £27million player.

The Ligue 1 club have repeatedly stated that any sale of the highly-rated 18-year-old centre-back must include a season-long loan back and the young player also reportedly wants to spend another year in France.
