Brilliant? Palace created the square root of f'all in the 1st half.

I said Zaha was brilliant not Palace.

Whenever a Palace player gave the ball to Zaha, he took on Swansea defense and did well.
Just because Palace as a side is shit doesnt mean Zaha was not playing well too...

I was listening to the 1st half on the radio... they said Zaha, Benteke and Townsend were anonymous.

No...It was just Townsend & Benteke. Both liabilities. Townsend had a horror show. Gave away every ball came his way with daft passes. Whenever Palace CBs got the ball, they punted aimless longballs to Benteke who lost the aerial battle time & again.

As I said, Zaha simply did not get the ball. I was skeptical about Zaha transfer to us. But the more I watch him this season, more I am convinced he will suit us.

Just looking at stats - Zaha has 4 goals & 8 assists this season - This is as many assists he has got for his last 3 PL seasons put together.

Zaha has defintely kicked on and is a player on the up. He will do well under Poch, am sure. But his price would have also gone up in this time.

If he is available for 25m, then we should go for him.

Zaha is a clone of Townsend... scores the odd worldly and then reverts back to poncing about. If it wasn't for using chasing him in the summer there wouldn't be any hype about him. I don't see any other top sides chasing him do you?

He is technically vastly superior to Townsend. He's never really pushed on, but ability-wise it isn't close.

If he fulfills his potential, he will be a very good player. That's a massive "if" though.

I still feel he is more of a lennon, townsend type player with speed and a bit of trickery capable of beating anyone but no idea what to do next.
Need more players with quick brains like eriksen. Actually I´d love a bale type with both in abundance but hey...

He's had a good season and scored some impressive goals. His price will be at a premium right now.

So the only reason I;d want us to buy him is if we believe he is real quality. We can't just hope for a different option.

I've been impressed by Zaha this season but overall not convinced he is going to have a career at such a high level.

I mean United did sign him...

He is going to be out of action for the next month or so due to his involvement in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Utd also signed Bebe...

We need to be very careful when pursuing players at clubs that are woefully inept, fighting relegation or lower table sides as average players can look like future superstars. There's numerous examples of these sort of players who have failed miserably at better clubs... Bony, Sigurdsson, Benteke, Andy Carroll, Darren Bent!...

I'm with Teeside on this one.
Would be a fkin ridiculously bad buy imo givin the price they're talking.
He's Townsend mk2. Actually thats not fair, Townsend is better.
I must be watching a different player to some. Yes he can do the occasional bit of flash skill but 9 times out of 10 he ends up on his arse.
Seriously next game keep an eye on him and see how often he's on the floor.
Not for me Clive.

I don't want us to sign him either, but he's better than Townsend.
