They're just scrambling for viewers.
The problem with a news channel is having enough actual news to present. When there's very little going on, I guess they just opt for "news" as oppose to (actual) news.

Why do you just instantly believe what one person says?
I know it pays to be critical of news sources, but why would Hangeland have any reason to lie about this? In what way would that benefit him? He isn't getting paid per click for this interview so I really can't see why..

Zaha far from the biggest name dropped on that list anyway.

Regardless of this rubbish rumour, we're clearly not signing anyone this window.

I don't doubt that Hangeland is correct. However, important to Pochettino is not necessarily whether or not the prospective signing has shown the expected work ethics already, but whether or not he can easily adapt and has it in him to deliver the right work ethics for Spurs. In light of that it is very hard for regular fans to accurately assess suitability of a potential signing. That being said, I don't particularly want Zaha.

I was quite keen but our switch to three at the back really improved our way of play and I just don't see how Zaha could fit in that, especially as we're well stocked on right with Walker and Trippier.

Wouldn't be disappointed if we did sign as gives another option but wouldn't be in first choice eleven at present as maybe would have been if playing 4-2-3-1.

Would love it if we signed him. Need more pace and he'd offer it and none of our backups have set the world on fire. I'd be really keen to see what Poch can do with him
