Yeah but this summer I'm pretty sure they've been a tire fire of trash on us. They've been heavily snorting the Kane and Poch leaving dust.

Good point. They also reported that Tripps and Lloris were Madrid bound. No idea if the same journos though and Herc hinted something would break tonight.

I read it as 45 mil plus 15 in add ons. Probably a fair deal all things considered. 30 was what Chelsea offered plus Drinkwater, all falls in line with what ITK told us today. Only part that is unnerving is Lucas & Serge.

Couldn’t give a monkeys myself if we were open to selling Aurier.

I read it as £45 rising to £60m with add ons. Sell on fee does not sound very Levy though.

Quite a few things seemed off in that article actually, I'd be surprised if we were binning Moura off already, especially for no profit. Made out Grealish was an alternative to Zaha/Martial too.

But it does all fit in well with Herc's ITK as the Sun were good on us last summer.
Sell on fee would be completely Levy, we're about Zaha's level I don't think he can really take another step up. He's probably going to finish his playing days with us or go back to palace on a free when he's in his early 30s; so there'll be no percentage of a fee to pass on for him. People forget he's mid twenties, we've probably got about 4/5 years tops left at top level for an agile winger like him.

Here's a load of bollocks that's week old

According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha could become Tottenham Hotspur’s first summer signing this week.

Palace want £60 million for the winger, according to The Sun, but Spurs are hopeful of doing a deal for him.

Mauricio Pochettino has been a long-term admirer of Zaha, and a transfer could reportedly be completed within the very near future.

If Zaha does arrive at Spurs it would finally be a statement of intent, after what has been a slow summer so far.

Tottenham are yet to make a signing, after missing out on a number of their targets.

I did consider that but it's still a not very Levy thing. If he did a Salah (don't think he would) and then acted a dick for a move that would sting us (doesn't seem to be doing this to Palace). If he didn't work out we'd lose an even bigger chunk of the 'cutting losses' price.

We compare to our competitors in terms of attacking midfield.

I think Man City are a level above and maybe Liverpool are slightly better but I’d compare us similar to the other three, but with the best striker in the league, in front of them I don’t see a reason why we can’t compete near the top again

Not sure what people expected, we were told it was the same source that rose did the interview with last summer and they've embellished slightly with the moura/aurier stuff. it's the sun the best you can hope for is a 50% credible piece.

I reckon 85% of that 50% is credible.
