It's all just come from one source, The Mirror. The Metro and Bristol Post don't care if it's true, they don't have to. They aren't claiming there's anything in it, they're just reporting on what The Mirror are saying.

Look at the end of the day, the story is out there and whether other sites are rehashing the same story is irrelevant as we dont know for sure unless the author confirms he is just effectively copying and pasting. The fact is, it has been reported by a news source that he "prefers a big money move" which to me indicates he is interested in making more money and there is nothing wrong with that but Spurs need players that look beyond the pay slip.
