Get to the last 8 of CL and anything could happen. Its a bit like a southampton or WBA winning the FA Cup not impossible.Especially As we have shown we can go to best in Europe and compete.City are currently viewed by many as best team in Europe.Would anyone say over 2 legs we had no chance against them of course not.Yes we’d need a perfect storm and favourable draw. But if we get to last 8 honestly believe anything could happen. There aren’t many back 3 better than to toby Sanchez jan in Europe and not many better than Kane.We have a punchers chance.

If his negative attitude towards domestic cup comps continues like present then No. We are not good enough to win the PL or CL so that leaves us only with domestic cups.

The League Cup I agree with but how have we shown a negative attitude towards the FA Cup?

I’m assuming someone’s discussed his Alonso comments somewhere? Can’t see them. Really weird thing to say

I think it was a fair comment. All he’s saying is that success is relative. If anything it was more of a dig at the likes of Real, Chelsea, and the Sheik Mansour team.

Yeah, I get that, still feels entirely unnecessary thing to say, as it inevitably will make Spurs sound a small club, however true that is. Seems like recently he’s getting irked at the expectation, however unnecessary.

Also it's an entirely invalid personal comparison too: Alonso won everything first, the youngest driver (at the time) to ever win the drivers championship, then retained it and became the youngest double champion, before shifting to less successful teams.

Poch hasn't shown he can do that yet, so to compare himself to one of the greatest drivers ever is an interesting one. Maybe he didn’t mean it like that but it will obviously be interpreted that way

TBH does it even matter, obviously I'd love them but trophies are only validation of success and with this team I don't need that

More nights like this and we as fans are already being spoilt

(I think we will win many trophies in the next decade anyway)

We’ve gone up another level no question.everton Dortmund. Liverpool Real x 2 .Not Just one offs doing it consistently.Such a shame Sanchez and Kane missed OT Convinced we would have won.

There are a few teams that could win the CL this year, including the five from the PL. One thing's for sure, we're no longer knock out fodder even in the late stages of the competition. I'd give us at least evens against anyone apart from City and PSG, and even then we have a reasonable chance of getting a result.
