I hope Sandro scores the winning goal and runs over to the Chelsea bench to hand Willian a Spurs shirt with "Willian # $$" on the back in celebration.

Clearly Jose seems to believe Lennon is a player we all highly value and is integral to our team. This could turn into an awesome plan. Get AVB to come out fighting and say 'Lennon would never be sold or join Chelsea anyway as he's our most important player'. Mourinho then puts in a disgustingly big bid for Lennon knowing Levy will accept and thinking he has won one over on us by weakening our team.

Genius.

Close thread.

I'd say Sandro and Paulie will welcome him to WHL but he'll probably be hidden away on the bench.

Agreement reached with Willian & Anzhi for transfer of player. It's subject to work permit hearing Wednesday:http://che.lc/nS39cc#CFC

So, let me get this straight:
-We flew him in from Dagestan or whichever rock he was living under
-He had a medical with us
-He had a meet & greet with staff
-There was a gentleman's agreement of the contract
-Kia wanted a fat bonus/stalled
-**** Abramovich/JM suddenly wanted to spend 30M on a player they haven't been linked to since AVB was in charge (?)
-Willian and Kia gets a boner after hearing the offer from CFC, laughing over it on a romantic dinner

Seriosly. We dodged a ****ing bullet. Go **** yourselfs.

Guys please, I said this before. Let's not lower ourselves to bindippers standards. Wish the guy luck and lets move on, who knows 4 months from now we might be saying "phew! good job we didn't spunk £30m on that guy" :cautious:

JM is right we have not been weakened. He may though have just given some added determination to our squad to outdo Chelski. It will be interesting to see how Oscar, Hazard, Willian, Torres cope with Kaboul, Sandro, Paulinho, Capoue, Dembele and co when we meet

I honestly dont think Willian deserves any abuse for this decision. There are 2 scenarios and neither can be blamed on Willian.

The first is that Chelsea offered more to Anzhi than we did so Anzhi pulled the plug on our deal. Chelsea did a similar thing with Oscar after we agreed a fee.

The second is that Willian chose Chelsea over Spurs which is just the same as when he originally chose Spurs over Liverpool. He went from a club not in Europe, to a club in the Europa League to a club in the Champions League in a week.

As far as those who blame him for going to Chelsea because they already have plenty of attacking midfielders I still dont think it matters to him. He is a confident young lad and I'm sure he believes he will be good enough to start for them.

I just hate Chelsea with a passion and the shear arrogance and bully mentality they show in the transfer window. Unfortunately with money comes power. I say fuck them, we have a great team and great spirit here so it's his loss not ours.

Hopefully we can let this thread die now so we can move onto those who want to be a part of this exciting project we're building at this great club.

Pfft.....Willian is soooooo last week.

Onwards and upwards people, Levy and co will get some other talented boyos in who actually want to play for the club.

Would laugh if Mata was sold as a consequence of this, the Chavs fans would be in uproar.
