Dud Martin Tyler just say that there will be an appeal for his work permit denial on Thursday?

He did indeed. There's no way in hell it'll be denied though. He's got a big enough profile and will be on good wages.

Although it would be hilarious if it did.

Not even Mourinho is using the best team available. I find it a bit strange with his choices as well. I have noticed that now, so he is not as special as he used to be. He is the best when it comes to the media, though. That is his main strength.

Victor Moses will save them.

In my opinion Mata will be sold, it will be a huge statement by him but if a game cried out for Mata it was the one tonight there was no reason that I could see in not playing him. Hazard who I thought was very dissappointing and Oscar who had a decent game were far to direct and kept running into brick walls. From what I have seen offend heard of Willian he is a better dribbler and faster than Mata and probably a little more direct. The thought of Mata behind Bobby makes me moist...... Could It ever happen??

We will see the real Mourinho now.

And winner, master-coach or guru he isn't.

The joke is on Chelsea. He's back for an easy ride, loads of cash and not much else.

He has, very provably, been all of those things though. He does come off he's here for a holiday, but wherever he gets his motivation from, it's an ambitious bet on it being exhausted.

Pretty sure I heard he wants to manage Portugal.

Also Mata has always played well against united, in his 7 games against United for Chelsea he has 3 goals and 4 assists

Im sorry if this question has already been answered but i couldn't find a definitive answer when looking through the thread:

Can someone enlighten me as to why we never got Willian's signature before we did his medical? With most of our deals this summer, we have announced them 'subject to medical'. Ie. papers signed and will become a Spurs player unless the player fails the medical. So why didn't this happen with Willian, why did we wait until after his medical to get his signature?

Maybe Willian and his representatives were stalling.
