That was simply amazing, best match I've seen in my life, I wanted Federer to win but I thought he was out of it long ago. He came back like a true champion. I'm a big Federer fan but I have to give Nadal his dues. Every point he fights for, incredible! He is still 22 and he has the potential to be the greatest of all time. These two are way and above anyone.

Oh! My! God! What a match. Certainly one of the best ever and I won't forget it, along with a couple of other superb tennis matches over the years.

I'm exhausted just from watching it and I agree, neither of them deserved to lose.

Hi CH, I know y'day you were cheering for the Roger camp,
I gave up watching Wimbledon a few years back but the shots these guys were playing, on the return, backhand you name it they were great shots, out of the drawer stuff, great to watch. a winning pass shot became abackand winner.

I was fortunate, like yourself to see the good stuff, from Taylor, Laver Ashe, to McEnroe, Borg and Connors but BOTH tonights players did their bit, not only for themselves but for the sport and the sportgoing people/.

I still remember a thrilling five setter semi between Borg and Gerulitis that was absolutely superb.

Sad that Vitus died so young and so needlessly from carbon monoxide poisoning.
