Winks or Sissoko? Who deserves to start for Spurs

Thinking of the RM and other top EPL games, Sissoko is stronger and probably faster than Winks. However, I think Winks gets the ball forward quicker than Sissoko and that's important if you are playing a counter-attacking game. It does depend on who Poch will have available at DM.

I'd go with Sissoko. He'll be looking to press on after that bundled goal, I'd give him the start and if it doesn't work out bring Winks on around the hour mark. Sossage has never done well coming off the bench, Winks has shown he can apparently just switch match fitness on when he feels like it.

Different players with very different styles it’s like comparing Dier & Wanyama. All bring something different to the team and add to our style in different ways.

If we have Wanyama in CM then Winks should start to move the ball quickly in tight spaces, if we haven’t got Wanyama then Sissoko should play as he adds a physical presence that’s needed in the middle of the park.

Not even a question for me, Winks everytime. We need someone in the middle with the ability to pick a pass, find that gap, bring calm to the midfield. Sissoko for all his hard work doesn't possess those qualities.

Winks.
Sissoko is only in contention atm because Victor and Dembele are injured. Otherwise he'd be warming the bench, if even that.

Harry Winks makes everything look so effortless and could truly develop into a quality player. Very different players but if Sissoko did some of the touches, passing and evasion that Winks does people would be making a much bigger deal out of it.

Winks every time!

Christ I really like the kid but that is a big ask. Victor and Moussa are back for the 14th on Physioroom. Although neither are going to be anywhere near match fit or sharp. He might have to step up. Hope he doesn't crack under the pressure.

In the two games he featured for us Vic looked nowhere near match fit and was a liability against Chelsea, without any matches to gauge him I would not want him in CM against RM, it's not like they overpower teams in CM. Moussa and Vic could easily get run ragged by Modric, Cruz and Isco. (wouldn't want Sissoko in there either)

Different players completely.

Winks though on every level. Apart from In Goal, Sissoko is marginally the better keeper.
