Harry Winks was delighted to get so much game time under his belt on our post-season tour of Malaysia and Australia and thanked our worldwide fans for their backing.

He looked very comfortable on the ball and always seemed to be involved. Would be good to involve him regularly in the europa

good looking chap.

Hope he gets lots of game time next season. I'm pretty happy for us to bring loads of youth through and not buy too many. I'm pretty patient though. Not like your average spurs fan.

With players like Winks, Pritchard, Alli, Yedlin, and even Carroll in and around the squad, I don't understand why anyone was opposed to Europa next season - those extra games will be great for the younger guys to get game time and prove their worth - just like Kane did this year. If they are good enough, it will show, and they will get some league games.

And if you weren't cool enough already, you're also not a d!ck about it.

So there's that too.

There is absolutely no point to have players like Stambouli, Paulinho etc on the bench or even on the pitch when you have the talent like we have in CM around. I am all for quality additions with experience, but we must seriously buy better what we have, Winks, Carroll, Milos etc are very capable to do a job, Mason and especially Bentaleb show that once they were given the chance.

As long as they do get that euro game time.
Carroll's progress was set back because of AVB's insistence on playing the first team in the europa.

With all the midfield players we have coming through there's no point for Capoue Paulinho Holtby Dembele Stambouli. We maybe should keep one of them for experience, (tbh)from that list Paulinho is the more productive.

The thought of some more our own youngsters stepping up
is making me really look forward to next season.
At times this season we have had five of our own
not just being selected but playing well and commanding a place.
Something current to identify with and support
and not just happy memories.
They will need time support and patience and will reward us with commitment and passion that no outsider can produce
as good as they might be..
Can't wait.

And yet, Hugo seems to think well of Stambouli (see article above this).
He says,
"A guy like Benji Stambouli, for example, has to succeed. He has the talent, his head on his shoulders, a workhorse. He has worked hard, it will pay off. He will come out the other end and have grown. I love these type of players who give everything for the team. He really is a good guy.”
