This is my football manager alternative (computer game exiled)

season 2015/2016

Gk: Lloris, Vorm
LB: Rose and Davies
RB: Walker and Yedlin
CB: Vertonghen, Fazio, Dier, Moreno/Reid,
CM: Bentaleb, Mason, Stambouli, Dembele, Cayabe/Rabiot
AM: Eriksen, Chadli, Lamela, Pritchard, Boetius, Milner/Rodriguez
CF: Kane, Soldado, Ings

Sell: Naughton, Kaboul, Vlad(although he might come good), Capoue, Paulinho, Lennon, Adebayor

Maybe Sell Dembele, Townsend and Carroll depending on incomes.

Ins: 5
Outs: 7 or 10
Looks good to me, promote the prospects and look to add a VDV-type signing in CM or CF. Is Milner our of contract this summer? Would love to see him wear the Lilly-white shirt.

Promote the likes of Veljkovic, Winks, Onomah and vastly cut wage bill and squad size.

I'm excited for our future if we make the right decisions!

I think the last couple of weeks has changed what needs to be done.
There only appears to be Lennon, Ade, Kaboul, and possibly Capoue who are genuinely surplus to requirements both in terms of playing time and attitude.
As a result I only really see a need to move these on in the current window.
If we can move all four on it would be great in terms of generating funds and reducing the wage bill so that we are better positioned in the Summer for changes.
And that may not be cut and dried as now we have found an effective starting eleven, seen youngsters improve, and have academy players in the wings, Poch may have to re-review his thoughts from last Summer.

Aymeric Laporte being rumoured today, no doubt a brilliant signing if we could pull it off but even with a good exchange rate his 40 mill euro buyout would cost us approx £30 mill unless Bilbao not known for being easy to deal with accept a lesser bid
Then Laporte himself saying he was happy at Bilbao whilst he is still learning and developing when United were interested suggests it would be a tough deal to do
On the other hand Bilbao are having a bad season and not many points off the relegation zone
Fingers crossed I guess but I won't be holding my breath on this one

It's in the Sun mate. They also said we would be having a £60million splurge before the deadline. Apparently he would actually cost £39million as well.

Get rid of the deadwood including Ade and Kaboul (ASAP) must be our main priority. Players who could be finding a new home at Spurs I don't know and I am not paid to worry about it either :)

That's what the Sun said, he would ACTUALLY cost £39million.

Why are you believing it? I honestly don't understand.

Eh who said I was believing it? I have absolutely no idea where you've got that from, I'm just saying what the article actually said, which you got wrong in your post

You know that the sun said the french 2 in the summer, you've quoted a post in the Rodriguez thread saying exactly that and the sun's only mention of figure irt laporte is '£32m rated'. So you're blatantly making up and spreading bullshit. Troll

I'm a Troll :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I guess I'm an Arsenal fan as well. :ROFLMAO:

So I misread it. Who cares? The only bullshit truly being spread is by the Sun.

The worry is that, in comparison to our main rivals, we are far too reliant on just 2 players( plus Hugo, but most top teams rely on their number 1 G/K). We desperately need players to take the weight off them for the occasional rest and should injury/suspensions arise( we have been quite lucky with injuries this season compared to the past and to our main rivals). I can't really see us solving this potential disaster in the next2 days somehow, so we will just have to hope that they can keep fit and as fresh as possible for the big games. Clearly the situation not helped by the lack of worthwhile contribution from the 2 back up strikers and Lamela ( still hanging on to the hope that this could still happen)

For me it is all clear. I don't expect anyone for the first team this window. Nothing hints that we do any business. Hope we can get rid of Kaboul/ Adebayor and maybe Lennon/Vlad.

Our best hope is Kane, Eriksen and Verts to stay fit.
