Would love for us to get Pepe who's also mentioned in that Times article. Will be a star.
Looks interesting but are we really in need for a right winger? Feels like we already have good backing in that area. I have been hoping for a world class, or at least a potential world class DM signing for years now. The likes of Jorginho or Ndombele etc..

Ridiculous how blinkered some people on here are. As said just because he’s not called dackic or might not have a cool haircut people are totally dismissive. Also as said people were quite happy with grealish. I think he’s maybe 18 months older if that and his numbers put grealish to shame. Obviously it’s a punt, any player from the championship is. But Maddison has shown the gap isn’t as big as people make out. If people were happy taking a punt on grealish there’s absolutely no reason to be so dismissive of dack.

Never heard of him, but has a great set of skills via a you tube watch. I'd be very much in the yes please category. And agree with what some one else said. Looks like a 70's baller. I liked his weight of pass especially through or behind defenders and the jinky runs are waddle like. Obviously a very limited veiw but I like a mix of gritty and silky.

With Winks looking like he can stay fit our CM options have drastically got better however Wanyama and Dembele fitness issues have become a concern so we might how to look at that (Dier is so important also).

I feel we need to improve our full backs. I am not a fan of Trippier at all tbh and personally would prefer Aurier. Ben Davies is a steady player but not really great getting forward, Rose is never fit so I'd personally like to see an improvement at left back.

Also another left footed winger wouldn't go a miss.

Poch absolutely buzzing in his presser - can't remember the last time I've seen him this animated...

Transfers bit is from 5'50" to 8'30"

Have thought Tripps has been one of the better performers recently - alright he isn't as solid as Walker in defence, but he has improved massively in the last year.

Davies and Rose, well, yes, both spots need upgrading apparently.

Think we could really use a right winger given Poch seems to prefer playing Lucas either as a support striker or a left winger.making our only naturally right sided player Lamela. That being said, I agree, CM/DM should be our number 1 priority.

Someones going to have to explain the winger obsession to me again. We have 5 class attacking mids (and a very solid 6th with Sissoko). Its arguably our strongest position, with 4-5 positions higher on the list.

We have Son and Moura to play as out and out wingers but its quite clear he has no interest in doing this. I just feel it would be a waste of money when we're soon gonna have to replace Dembele and Llorente for nowt (with maybe only 25 chucked in from Toby for a CB).

Moura and Son are fantastic members both stronger on their right foot though can use two feet.. Personally I'd like a Mahrez / Salah goal scoring type left footed player to complement the squad with Lamela who imo can cover a multitude of attacking and creative positions.

A goal scoring Lamela is a different animal we then start looking at him on a world class level

Have to say:

Eriksen
Son
Dele
Lamela
Moura

Is now a very nice AM group gives you a bit of everything. Bringing another in would really give you quite a headache who even makes match day squad.
It is a good group, but I’d still say, Eriksen apart, it’s also a rather wasteful group, who quite often make poor choices when a clinical pass or shot is needed. We could still use someone in there who has that on-board computer that makes them choose the right pass more often that not.

Here's my attempt at a Wishlist/Scenario (***As a caveat, i think this scenario would realistically have to unfold over the January and Summer window, as it's likely too many moving parts to solidify in one month's time):

Sell:

Mousa Dembele: As I mentioned yesterday, we are at the point where Dembele not being around is actually addition by subtraction. He just doesn't have what made him an effective central midfielder anymore. China would be a great fit for him, as he'd get his payday and we would like get a nice little chunk of change, despite his contract running down.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou: I look at a team like Cardiff City and see a potential fit. My only question would be if the dinosaur that is Warnock would be interested in such a "fancy-named" player. Considering their tactics are essentially get it to their pacy wingers to just lump the ball into the box for their big lads to get on the end of, GKN would be a great fit. Cardiff City are also terrible so they need help, bad.

Michel Vorm: Time to officially promote Gazzaniga to #2, and do a little trimming of the roster so we aren't wasting a Non-HG space on 2 backup keepers. There's usually a GK-needy team come January and they'd be happy to have a guy like Vorm, who won't embarrass himself as a stand-in #1.

Loan:

Juan Foyth/Kyle Walker-Peters: They need match minutes. Loan them out and get them some experience. It's ridiculous what we've done with KWP in particular.

Buy:

Tanguy Ndombele: If there is any way in this world that we can get him, we must. He'd be a perfect fit for what we need, and if we can get him, we could in turn prioritize shifting on Sissoko (likely in the summer). The absolute closest thing we could get to a Dembele replacement. His peripheral stats are a little "down" this season, but given his age, and Poch's ability to get the most out of players, I believe he'd turn into a real beast for us through the middle. If Ndombele ends up going to a bigger club, Stanislav Lobotka still looks like a nice backup option.

Wilmer Barrios: Continuing the trend of reinforcing midfield, Wilmer Barrios fits the need to have a truly athletic midfield enforcer. This is what Wanyama is/was supposed to be, but with the injury concerns, he simply hasn't been healthy enough in recent seasons to do so. Having Barrios would make a guy like Wanyama expendable due to the sheer numbers of options we'd have in midfield, but I think that's a tough decision we would have to live with. If Barrios becomes too difficult to land, I'd love to see us target Phillip Billing. I think there's a real player in there and I love his blend of work rate, athleticism and general talent. He's also only 22 years old so would have some potential room for development.

Suso: He has turned into quite a wonderful little player at AC Milan. And, for me, this is the closest you are going to get to a Christian Eriksen type. If we could add a guy like him, it'd round out our attacking options quite perfectly as he'd also be able to operate on the right side (in either a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 AM3). He's basically my cheaper man's Isco.

From there, we will need a striker to replace what will be an outgoing Llorente. Not sure when that happens, but it's always a difficult proposition of figuring out what exactly we could land in terms on a second striker. Any young player will know that they aren't going to see much of the pitch given Kane's status, so it'd need to be a guy with a skillset that could thrive as a support striker type and as a lone forward. That's a pretty tough ask, but Piatek and Dolberg would fit that bill.
