dragon1: Declan rice
We are all over him
English and out of contract 2020

I would fucking love this to happen purely as would piss the spammers right off!

Could see them refusing to deal with us though being the small-time petty people they are (although we’ve sold them players in recent years).

Don’t know too much about him aside from he is highly rated and there’s controversy whether he represents Ireland or England.

I do recall he was playing in back three for them last season and this season seems to be playing as holder in 4-1-4-1 system, so not sure if his original position was centre back or midfielder?

Off to transfermarkt I go!

If Foyth doesn't get his chance we'll lose him and that would be criminal. If Toby goes I don't think we have too many problems at CB. Rice might be the man to replace Wanyama though.
I think there's room for Foyth to be given more playing time even if Dier does slot in as Toby's replacement in the squad. In years past Poch has rotated the CBs more than he has over this season and last, but I think that's largely due to injuries and Foyth not yet being considered ready. As Foyth continues to progress and be integrated, there'd be plenty of opportunities for the four of Vertonghen, Sanchez, Foyth, and Dier to play.

@riggi will be salivating at the prospect. The Spammers would never get over us signing him. Come on levy, get it done! (As long as it isn’t at the expense of Foyth!)

I thought his contract expired in 2019?
Same here...transfer market says his contract expires 6/30/19.

I know some other leagues allow it, but does PL allow a pre-contract (could he sign in January if his contract is up in June)?

Transfermarket is wrong I believe and only foreign teams can do pre contracts in jan

Just get standard liege to buy him then. Sorted.

think the ITK has wrong date as I believe he is a free agent summer 2019, so they won't get to stop him:ROFLMAO:

just text a spammer I know just to possibly piss him off, though he hasn't replied since Wednesday

Lewis cook is pointless imo. He’s certainly no better than winks. So effectively you are saying winks is our No 1 and cook back up. Just don’t think that’s strong enough. In reality we need someone better or at least equal to winks.

Absolutely. If Winks is to be successful he'll need to be pushed.

You gave me a D'oh rating the other day for posting that we could bring in a young, inexpensive talent to compete with Winks but I agree with this sentiment. I don't think the Lewis Cooks of the world are what we need, but we also don't need to go splash £70m on Ndombele or De Jong. A player like Exequiel Palacios (or someone else of that profile) who's extremely highly rated but not yet established enough to command a massive fee would both fit our budgetary constrains and provide Winks with the genuine competition he needs to fulfill his potential.

Only because he is homegrown. Because the other 2 look much better imo
I'm always fairly skeptical about the young English prospect. I tend to doubt the hype until its justified. These guys just seem to grow on trees.

Rice would be a Levy deal if ever we saw one. Contract running down, at a Club in a relegation dog fight, home grown, even if he turns to sh*t we could still turn a tidy profit. And mugging off the Dildo Bros to boot.
