Match: English Premier League (EPL) - Match Day 11

When: Saturday, November 3rd 2018

Stadium: Molineux Stadium

Kick Off: 7:45pm

Referee: Mike Dean

Form: Wolves DWWLL Spurs WWDLW (All Competitions)

Wolves are winless in their last 4 EPL meetings with us (D2, L2) since winning both games against us in 2009-10 season. We have won 4 of our last 6 top flight games against Wolves at Molineux (D1, L1).

This will be the 4th EPL game kicking off at this time slot on a Saturday, after Southampton 4-0 Arsenal (26 12 2015), Leicester 2-2 Manu Utd (23 12 2017) and Us 1-3 Man City (14 04 2018)

We are unbeaten in our last 38 EPL games against promoted sides (W35, D3). Wolves were the last promoted side to beat us twice in the same season (2001-10). Wolves have failed to score in their last 2 league games- they have never failed to score in three consecutive league matches under Nuno Espirito Sanot

We have won 71% of our EPL points this season (15/21) in away matches. Only Crystal Palace (75%) and New castle (100%) have a higher percentage.

Wolves have won none of their last 24 EPL matches against sides starting the day in the top half of the table (D10 L14) since winning 1-0 against Man Utd in Feb 2011.

We had just 4 shots in our previous against Man City, our fewest in a game under Poch. We last had as few as four in January 2014, also against Man City.

Since the start of the 2014-15 season, Harry Kane has scored 25 EPL goals against newly promoted sides, six more than any other player

Dude, you're wrong.
He's not wrong, I think you've misunderstood.

Newcastle have 3 points, all three from away draws, and have lost every home game. Thus 100% of their points total has come from away games.

Palace have 8 points, 2 from home games and 6 from away games, that's 75% away.

We have 21 points, 6 from home games and 15 from away games, that's 71% away.

7.45pm kickoff....ugh. The locals will be boozed up and howling at the ref over every decision.

I might have to watch with the sound turned down.

Apparently this is 7.45 because it was scheduled for 1.30 Sunday before the CL schedule came out and we play PSV on Tuesday.

Sky probably deliberately botched the fixture list as it now gives them a chance to try out the 7.45 kickoff before the new TV rights package comes into play next season.

I've watched Wolves a few times this season and have been really impressed. Well organised and compact team, good technicians in midfield and lots of pace and trickery up front (particularly when Traore comes off the bench).

Early days yet, but they might just be the best team outside the Top 6 for my money.

They were really good before the last two games, they've just lost to Brighton and Watford without scoring. Their biggest problem is that they don't have a reliable goalscorer (now watch Jimenez score a hat trick).

After a comfortable start in the top tier for Wolves I was thinking this fixture was a worry - they were flying.

They won't be a pushover but as we improve and players come back into form I am looking forward to tomorrow night.

Why is it such a late start? Isn't it pretty typical for there to only be a late game on Sundays?
