You can tell Poch is well pissed off with Trippier in his post match interview. Mentions disrespecting the opponent etc

Those who are correctly criticising Trippier's poor judgment defensively should also bear in mind that his perfect, arching cross found our 5'-8" winger's head in an ocean of space, with such precise momentum that all Lucas had to do to score was to make good contact with it.

No excuse for the dogshit defending. Just because he made one assist does not make it ok to continue to have brain farts

Never on the 2nd. Just watched it back and Foyth doesn’t foul him at all. He keeps pace with him, shoulder to shoulder and the fucker just drops, taking Foyth with him.
Never a penalty.
Foyth completely bundled him over for the second, and it was quite rightly a penalty all day long. Not looking to dig Foyth out but even Spurs'-most-Tottenham-y fan BBLG will be on here later admitting that that penalty was correctly given.

Our CBs are always stretched when we play with trippier and Davies in the same team.
Yep. Remember the days when Walker or Rose would be flying back to sweep up behind? I said it last season, we won't be genuine title challengers with them as starters because they aren't dynamic enough. Excellent at filling in occasionally but not what this team and Poch's preferred style needs. Aurier and KWP as soon as we can and buy a LB in Jan.

Did they say on Sky that he's had 10 assist's?

Good to hear that from Poch, he is clearly alluding to that clown Trippier...

"Disrespecting opponents and I am not happy" lets hope he rips into him and we don't have to watch him again for a few weeks, yes he got a good assist today but he costs us more goals than he assists and he needs bringing down a few levels...

Have to think Poch figured the game was in hand and wanted to save Son for PSV, hence why he didn't start.

I get you. And the Dembele injury fked the game plan. But I don't get this they cant play two games a week thing. Son was playing in bursts and could manage his own stamina. Doherty had the run of that flank after the decision.

One of the good things about that performance, prior to the loss of composure in the last 20 minutes, was the off-the-ball work of Sissoko and Lucas. It rarely gets noticed, because people are obsessed with individual errors and inaccurate shots, but what I saw is that Pochettino spent much of last season reforming Lucas' game so he works hard and takes responsibility and tracks back and presses and confronts his man. He did that very well tonight.

Similarly, Sissoko, pressed into an unexpected role after Dembélé went off, occupied the right space in midfield numerous times and slowed or prevented a number of Wolves attacks using anticipation and angles. He isn't the greatest player on the ball and he can't shoot for shit, but he has a good sense of how to play central midfield. He wasn't as good as in the previous two matches, but he adapted well and could have had a couple of assists if he hadn't been such a greedy fucker. Really, Moussa, you're playing well, but please don't shoot.
