Very put Stoofious. But... :)

As tends to happen at the Emirates we sat back and Gomes looked increasingly shaky. Now, I know it's easy to say this and I know there are some forum people out there that will be feeling mighty small at the moment, but Gomes is not our answer as a Number 1.

Not me doll face :snooty: I'm still utterly convinced that in time he'll become a ledge with Spurs. He's half dead at the moment, and while there's a good argument he shouldn't be playing until his rib injury is cleared up, I find it astonishing so many fans can't see his quality (pre-Stoke game, so pre-injury).

More screens than you can shake a stick at though plus Kangaroo burgers for cheap should you want to eat a large bouncy mouse.

You mean you haven't read the full batch of them? There's one for every league game.

I me, mate. No-one else. Although if you're comparing mine to the standard of his, then that's probably one of the biggest compliments I've ever got!

I enjoyed Ali Gold's articles in the past but yours Stoof fully encapsulate a lot of the sentiments that I at least identify with whilst watching the mighty Spurs.

Yea Temple Walkabout is decent to watch football and the kangaroo burgers are good, if you like that sort of thing. Walkabout does have the impressive tendency to be pretty grotty whether it's in downtown Middlesbrough or the heart of the City. You have to hand it to them. I was in an Arsenal pub in Islington, the only Spurs fan amongst loads of Gooners. I still can't really remember what I did when we scored. Maybe it was, as one Gooner, said all a dream...

Who was the dude in the suit buried beneath Lennon and the lads in the goal celebration?

I thought I recognised him when I saw him at the end of the game...did that guy jump on the pitch at Wembley and get in a photo of the team? He looked really familiar...fair play to him though

No offence intended to either Ali or Stoof as I think both create well informed, interesting and amusing articles but Ali's were so well written and polished that you could be mistaken for thinking they were out of a newspaper and as a result sometimes seemed a bit disconnected. Stoof on the other hand has a more raw style and is easier to empathise with as a result. nice one Stoof

I was enjoying that til you said you were in the Temple Walkabout.

Isn't that the place where Aussie Travellers poor beer over there selves at the joy that we let them back in the country to nick our jobs, having booted them out the country once already.

True, but we take your jobs as we can spell and use correct grammar.

That said, I also question the choice of location... I mean the Walkabout, seriously...
