Most of us have seen the boozy pics of Hud and Lennon larging it. But check this out:

Ramos's training regime was so hard last summer that the players wore tape over their mouths as a silent protest. But no one is complaining now. "The coach has really driven home the need to win every game, to go out there and fight to the death," goalkeeper Palop says, "That attitude is vital."

I like him already!

Sounds good. Looks like our players need to be put in place and trained hard.

Well, trainer from hell or not, the player clean slate means everyone has to on their best behaviour, on or off the pitch. Can only be a good thing.

Have you all heard the story from a couple of years back? They were winning 2-0, but he thought they'd stopped trying so hard... so he took off a player and made them play with 10 men!

Fucking legend!

Exactly what the muppets need. I fancy some transfer requests will be handed in soon - starting with lennon and The Hudd.

Sounds good, only he might find his position becomes untenable if he upsets Berbatov….

I'd welcome it, thats a good start to installing the correct mentality in our players. let them know that they all need to be at the very top of their game or they arent going to cut it.

I think he meant the players were injury prone and hard training will shatter them.

Christian Gross was a hard man too wasnt he?......:)

Gross was a good coach. Our team he had was relegation material. Remember his fitness instructor he brought in? Lol, it was like an old school Russian weighlifting coach. "Ve must verk Harder!"

I can just imagine the first training session.

Ramos: Run Tommy run!

Hudd: Do what?

Ramos: Does anyone have Southampton's phone number?

He will come up with Ghaly's quote at Birminghams training/running day:

"We didn't run at Spurs"

:clap::clap::clap::clap:
