Just watching the documentary finish on BBC 2. Really enjoyed it - it's made me quite emotional and nostalgic, but I was only born in 1980 so dunno where that came from.
I didn't realise Alf sounded so posh. Or that he had elocution lessons and was actually from Dagenham!
I took many more things from that documentary but will open it up here if anyone else has got anything to say about it..
ps. I suppose the Jimmy Greaves story is pretty pertinent to Spurs. Felt for him not playing in the final, but I suppose the decision was vindicated when Geoff Hurst banged in the hatrick.
