Sweden 21 with possibly the most useless 15 mins cameo ever, even before that foul every touch was beyond shite.
Also that was very negative I thought from Sweden against a team down to 10 men and pouring forward with basically one defender on the pitch. They had some very brief moments, but should have had some..... any..... sort of ambition on the counter attack. Great strike, but those tactics, as we have seen quite a lot at this world cup already, seem to eventually bite you on the arse.

Bit harsh. They needed to avoid defeat and they’d stand a grea chance of qualifying. Tactic worked for 45minutes.

Dreadful seeing out the game from Sweden.
Vs 10 men. Gave away ridiculous free kicks. No one takes control of the game by putting a foot on. Keeper punches instead of catches, criminally wasteful upfront vs 2 defenders. And then when you know the ball is going to be shifted on a free kick there is only half a wall.

Sweden were beyond shit at end, they done everything except score for Germany themselves, Germany's 10 could have had 3 goals in last 6 or 7 mins.

No because you then have to factor in Mexico and all three will have six points and a GD of 3-2.
What happens then is that Mexico lose out on head to head goals scored, with a GD of 1-1 where the other two will have 2-2.

That tactic may have worked if we had any quick players on the counter attack, but we didn’t so yeah, hard to create anything when that’s the case. Although I’m heartbroken I’m also frustrated to How we acted in the last 15. We made some really bad decisions and acted inexperienced in general.

Dude you should have had a pen - and could have put 4 past Germany. Be proud. Understand the frustration but it was a great performance.
