France have the best team in this World Cup IMO. Neither team are well coached though.
They are both excellent teams and will both go deep into the tournament. But Belgium look better to me. They are really strong throughout and utterly ruthless. They were always going to win a major tournament when they clicked imo. I'm afraid they will be too strong for England on Thursday.

Funny game. Belgium have looked very good going forward ( they have been helped by Tunisia though) particularly on the counter, but they do look vulnerable defensively too, Tunisia have had several good situations. Pretty typical Martinez team I guess.

Very strong squad Belgium and unlike Euro-16 their game is much more organised and coherent. Martinez isn't Guardiola but better than Willmots as a coach and it shows.

Good job finishing second is a positive! Although I’m sure they’ll be a lot of rotation for the last game

this is how England's game with Tunisia could have been if Lingard and Sterling could have finished the chances early on.

I only watched the last 30 minutes but it was certainly entertaining.

Ego, is my best guess. Same reason why Chelsea has made him captain in the past. He needs his ego rubbed in order to play well.
That's literally what I've heard from Belgian fans. He was shit for them so they gave him the captaincy to motivate him. If it works why not I guess. Kompany was captain and then Jan vice before that.
