@Spurrific if you want to make an argument that Son's performance has been selfless and to his own standard then do so. But I'd suggest watching the S Korea attack just before the second goal. Which has summed up Son's tournament so far. Just because he's SK's best player doesn't mean he should just ignore the team thing to do.

And making an argument is better than hiding behind ratings, mate. (y)

Don’t care, virgin.

Not worried about the ratings. Worried that some Spurs fans seem to think that Son's selfishness and ignoring of players busting their guts to get into good positions is what we want from one of our most important players. Needs to sort it out. For SK and for Spurs.
Who. Cares. Come on, mate. His team SUCKS.

Son was roundly criticized on another forum I am on for not taking the earlier opportunity when he ran in on goal - instead leaving it for a teammate.

And in the attack just prior to Mexico's second Son was on the break and had a player busting an absolute gut to get into the box and into space. Instead of playing the cross Son decided to dribble into the box. Turned it over and they eventually scored.

This is hardly a new or controversial observation of the one flaw in Son's game. He's a tireless worker; capable of brilliance and a thunderous shot. But he, too often, doesn't get his head up and sometimes, even when he does, he chooses the more selfish option. Now, you can argue he needs to do that with SK because they are so poor - and that's a valid opinion. My opinion is that for SK to get better he has to bring others into the game more - reward others for busting a gut to get into space.

SO we can agree to disagree. No need for spamming. It's all onions (y)
