If both England and Belgium have a GD of 8-2, as is the case now, who is technically top?
At this point, I think they'd keep it alphabetical, because England and Belgium haven't played each other yet. If that's not the case, they'd do it on disciplinary record, which would put England top, as we've had 2 yellow cards and Belgium have 3.

I like RLC but i don't think he's done anywhere near enough to keep Dele out against Belgium if he's fit

He just isn’t creative enough for me. Yeah Dele will give the ball away a bit but he creates chances and looks to play the ball forward. We have lacked a player to play clever balls forward today.

Do our potential opponents play after us or will we know who we could face before we play Belgium?

It sets up an interesting scenario where a draw means every yellow card counts. Then you throw in the situation where both teams might be happier finishing 2nd.
lol I could imagine England and Belgium battling it out for 2nd place and then Germany still top their group.
Edit: Germany and Mexico play the day before so England and Belgium will know what place they want. The idiotic commentator stated that England play before Germany and I foolishly believed it.

Been impressed with the mentality of this England team over the last 2 games. They have’nt let the dirty tactics of Tunisia and Panama affect them.

For everyone criticising the performance. We were 5-0 up at half time without even trying in 30 degree heat.

It is very rare for a team in such a position not to drop their level with the game dead.

I do agree though that we are not good enough defensively and will get exposed by better teams.

No our group is last, Thursday evening and group H finishes Thursday afternoon. We'll know exactly how the knockout tree and potential opponents will look before we kick off.

We'll know the final standings in every other group before we kick off so that won't be an issue.

I’m not criticising (apart from that goal we conceded). I’m pointing out that it’s an average performance and we shouldn’t be lulled into thinking otherwise.

Feel for Dier, played more or less every minute in qualifying and now doesn’t get a look in, even at CB
