"I'm really worried about the Tottenham players. I don't think they know how to win. They're very good players, but at certain points in seasons and tournaments, you have to step up. There's a psyche players must have." - Tony Adams

I'm guessing Tony's going to come out and admit he's wrong though I won't hold my breath.

get in there, the only player on the Columbia team even if there was a small incident with Harry was our Sanchez that didn't get up to filthy tackles. They should of been down to 9 men, so justice was done :)

I think he was knackered. So dropped deep to let the faster players run on to his through balls. It didn’t work so well, but I understand why it happened.

Even before he was knacked he kept on dropping deep instead of staying up-front - particularly after Dele went off. He was very much involved, was the main offensive theat and opened up play for England but his main forte is scoring goals.

Was probably drunk.

Well done England, but Colombia should now have the book thrown at them and face retrospective action for their disgraceful thuggery, cheating, scuffing up the penalty box, harassing the ref and having official staff members deliberately barging into our players off the pitch. That sort of disgusting behaviour has no place in football, especially on the world's biggest stage.
Shame it will be up to a spineless and corrupt FIFA organisation to do anything about it ?

His performance in this tournament and hearing him own up to his mistake that led to a goal, Trippier has to be the nailed on starter for us in the same regard that Kane, Eriksen, and Dele are.
Helps to play in that wingback position. Seems like we are headed in that direction.

Good lad that. I noticed him waking away from the penalty kerfuffle when his teammates were vandalizing the spot - & he got daggers from one of them. Reckon he told them not to be ****s

All three Spurs scored their pens! I thought Trippier had a tough game but what character to take that pen and score it the way he did. We can be really proud of that. Fantastic.
