With VAR it Would virtually eradicate diving overnight if FIFA now retrospectively red carded those caught diving
I am amazed how few straight reds have been shown in these games. I wonder if the refs have been told to only give them out for the worst fouls imaginable.

First time a semi-final doesn't include Brazil, Germany or Argentina.

Delighted that little cheat Neymar is out. He would honestly rather try to cheat a pen than actually try to score. If he hadn't thrown himself forward for that VAR review incident he would have had a header on goal. It's pathetic.

As much as I hate Hazard, he was fantastic tonight.

Nice to see the Spurs (and ex Spurs) lads doing the business. Shame Dembele didn't get on.

Shocking that Mousa cannot get a game ahead of Witsel and Fellaini, the most bland and ineffective CM's pairing I've ever seen.

Boy was I wrong :ROFLMAO: credit to them, they definitely played their hearts out.

Six teams let in the tournament and three of those sides have a Tottenham player as Captain - Hugo, Harry & Luka. Okay Modric is cheating, but I'd love to see one of the other two lift the trophy if Harry doesn't do it.

If an Eng-Bel final there’d be a shitload of spurs in the final eh

We've literally got nearly our whole first team 11 still at the World Cup, not sure whether to feel proud or nervous lol

Bang average Brazil team got beat tonight..bang average.

I would say the belgians were incredible. Proper "tactics" from martinez having lukaku running in off the wing. It completely destroyed the brasilian defence. They were chasing shadows.

Belgium in full flow represent the best the prem has to offer for me. Well done lads. That DB finish was dirty.

Yep, very fair points made there mate. Maybe I'm one of a good few here that view Brazil through rose tinted goggles. I remember the dream teams of the past..the flair, the fast paced movement and passing. At times you couln't tell where the ball was going to be played.

This current crop are just like a European side...

Just my 2 cents.

Brazil haven’t played the way commentators have portrayed them for years.
Brazil have played very pragmatic football relying on individual brilliance since I started watching football around the start of the 90s.
