They lack another player with a spark. Modric creates but doesn't score many, Rakitic scores a bit. They need a third or fourth player to step up.

This is going as well as it can for now. A couple of straight reds in extra time and Russia winning 29-28 on pens would be perfect

For me, if England are to win the whole thing Sterling is key.

His pace and movement is fantastic, if he could just up his game a level once he hits the box and all of a sudden we've a very strong attack.

Trippier and Maguire have added such an exciting dimension and pickford's confidence is sky high.

We know what kane and Dele can do, but if Sterling can up it we could win it.

As it stands I’d rather face Croatia than Russia. I think with home support in the semis. Russia will take some beating.
