That felt like an almost carbon copy of our game v Juventus at Wembley earlier in the year. Brilliant for a half, in control and then a couple of sloppy moments ad experience takes over.

Gutted but proud of what the boys achieved.

Just hope our boys are spared the third place game on Saturday and can get back for a hug from Poch!

Personally think that was our best performance of the tournament. Small margins in the end. first goal out of nothing really. Walker should of attacked the ball at its highest point. Second goal we were caught ball watching. Actually think we were better with Sterling on. Harry does look a bit leggy. Disappointing we didn’t knit more together in the final third third as the game wore on but they played better than I thought they would tonight

That result saved me some massive angst. Don't have to choose between Hugo and Harry on Sunday. Plus couldn't really have tolerated another 50 years if England won the World Cup.

Come on France.
Harry or Hugo???? Wouldn't really be a choice would it. Also, not being a Pool fan, I'm blessed with the ability to support a team not containing a Spurs player... Come on Croatia. Never France. (Love you Hugo xx)

That was painful to watch almost a carbon copy of the Columbia game with all the thuggish fouling and rough housing. The referee didn't have any balls to actually do anything, because he was scared not to be reported for favorism with the whole Turkey vs. Croatia nationalistic angle.

Also Sterling was horrendous that man shouldn't be anywhere neat the starting line up of England Rashford was significantly better in a much less time. Unfourtunatly Stones fell asleep at a crucial time with their 2nd I really think England had a good chance on penalties.

Rashford was awful when he came on. Did nothing of value in the area where he was needed.

Spurs have dulled my senses to results like this. Annoying but I was more pissed off when we lost to Man Utd in the FA Cup semi final.

Can we just play rock, paper, scissors against Belgium for the third placed play off...?

Really can’t be fucked with watching a rerun of our previous game against Belgium’s second string.

One of the players of the tournament for me trippier, probably top 3 after mbappe & modric. Tough to see his pain at the end. He gave everything.

Need to remember that this tournament has been a learning experiance for Southgate as well.
Of course and I understand that, but there were opportunities to address Croatia's changes and I don't think he did that. I personally don't think we were as good as our position in the semi final of a world cup suggested and Croatia showed us that.

Allez Les Bleus !

Badly want to see Hugo with that winners medal...

The alternative is Lovren and Modric - unbearable.
